Regardless on varying opinions of her overall performance, can we all just agree that that is how you sing that song?!
The sheer power in her voice almost knocked me into next week. You can just tell she loves singing it.
Also shout out to the orchestra, I wish all West End shows were accompanied by 60-pieces every night!

Also, that note she went into 'So if you care to find...' gave me such goosebumps!

Also I love how they give us a break before Marisha comes back on...give everyone a chance to emotionally recover!

I find Marisha a little bit frantic in her delivery, I have to say.

I find Marisha a little bit frantic in her delivery, I have to say. having seen and listened to both Marisha and Amber, I do think you have to see Marisha live to really appreciate her performance. Amber is the stronger vocalist without a doubt, but Marisha acts through her singing so much more, and that comes across a lot better in the room. I totally get what you mean about how she sounds on the radio though! In terms of audience reaction on the night, it was Marisha who got the full standing ovation which went on for a good view minutes. That said, Tucker was still my fave

Of the night, thus far (though there isn't much coming up I expect will take over!), Rachel was my favourite, but Marisha isn't far behind at all!
But I agree, she is in a league of her own watching her in the show, listening on the radio, it was obvious to me she was very much acting through the song like she does in the show. And watching her develop through the show to that moment is pretty stellar!

Re School of Rock, Stephen Leask is the new Alternate Dewey, who takes over from Gary Trainor next week.

But props to Marisha, she does have a great voice. Tucker has stolen this show for me so far.

That is absolutely fair enough - Amber is phenomenal, I was physically shaking by the end of AAITY when I saw her, a rarity for me!

I still don't understand how Trevor wasn't nominated for the Olivier when Ben Hunter and Andrew Langtree got in (whilst I liked Girls and LOVED Groundhog!)
