I thought I would create a standalone thread for dream casting choices in theatre. It occurred to me when thinking of the much discussed and little confirmed transfer of Hedwig. With so many choices from gender-blind casting for the role of Hedwig on the table, I personally think Adam Lambert could play the part very well (rocky tone to voice, and no stranger to guy liner).
Which other roles do you think would be perfect for certain performers that haven't happened yet?

Adam Lambert is so incredibly talented I don't understand why he's not a bigger name on this side of the pond.

Is it for Musicals only? If not, I'm day-dreaming of seeing John Heffernan as Hamlet for quite a while now... He can do mad and vulnerable in perfect balance and he's so eloquent and clear when it comes to Shakespeare (not it wasn't intended to be in rhyme )

Apparently John Heffernan and Jamie Lloyd do plan to do Hamlet together at some point. I'd rather see him as Henry VI though, complete the trifecta of deposed kings.
