Daft question possibly... once I’ve logged into my ATG account, how do I get to a list of what shows I’ve booked and when?

Daft question possibly... once I’ve logged into my ATG account, how do I get to a list of what shows I’ve booked and when? I've just tried to log in to talk you through it, and can't access mine either. Seems to be a glitch on the website at the moment... Usually, if you're logged in and go back to the home page, there's a "My Account" link top left-ish. But I can't get back to the home page once logged in at the moment.

Not been working for me either. Can’t access the credit voucher I have to get it extended, super annoying. But not as annoying as the refund I’ve been waiting for since April. All round I’m in a never booking with ATG again if o can help it mood.

I am just astounded that they cannot figure out how to put a simple 'My Account' button on their site. Every other booking website in existence seems to manage it OK. Especially in a time when people need to access their bookings to see exchanges and vouchers.
I reckon you could give the ATG website to an ICT class in Year 9 and they'd figure out how to fix it quicker than the ATG team!

I am still astonished that ATG seem to get complaints about people not being able to easily access their account yet have done absolutely nothing about it. Then when you get into your account, the order history is a list of dates and order number, making finding an individual show an arduous process. I just cannot fathom how they can get a crucial piece of theatre website design so completely wrong on every single level. It is even worse when you consider how long they have had to redesign or at the very least introduce a 'My Account' feature.

Maybe we could have some sort of campaign to bring the inadequacies of their website @nd the whole thing about not getting email notifications to their attention. I don’t think they take notice of individuals complaining, but if we organised something…?

Having a look at the Manchester Opera House and Palace theatres as well as for the Liverpool Empire on the ATG website, there are a vast number of unsold seats for this weekend's shows of "The Woman in Black", "Rocky Horror Show" and "Heathers - The Musical". I'm really surprised that no offers have cropped this week up to try and shift these seats and bring in some much-needed revenue. I would have been tempted to see any of these shows again, but not at the prices they are charging. I don't know who green lights when offers go on shows, but it must be disheartening for any actor to play to half-filled theatres. It just doesn't make any business sense to have such empty auditoriums after they have been shut for 18 months.

Like you, david, I've no idea who green lights offers. If it's the producers, they seem to bypass ATG and go straight to manchestertheatres.com and Travelzoo. At least there are offers to be had in both MCR and LPL. It was sometime in the 1900s when I last got a deal from Sheffield Theatres!

TallPaul, You would of thought theatres would be offering all sorts of offers to get people in, particularly during the school holidays to get bums on seats. It's a weird business model to use. Why not try to attract customers? Probably like you, I'm signed up to most ticket agencies and the like such as Travelzoo, but my email inbox has been pretty quiet. As theatres are trying to recover, you would of thought the emails would be flooding in but it's turned into a bit of a drought.

Atg seem to have serious problems in general, especially that their customer services department is woefully understaffed. Social media is swamped by people basically at their wits end, wondering why they never answer the phone, respond social media queries, emails or their contact us box on the website. I've been trying to swap a ticket with no luck for over a month now. Just had an email asking what date I wanted to swap it to (obviously that was in the original request...) since then nothing... Over the pandemic trying to get cancelled ticket money back from them was stressful and took lots of chasing over many weeks. I really try and avoid them now. Lw theatres are the same. I've been waiting for a refund from a cancelled Joseph show for two months now. They just do not respond to emails or to website contact. So frustrating.

Do they do many offers at the Empire? Most of the ones I see are for a fiver off the first night, which I never use as I don’t fancy hanging around Bidston station at 11 ‘o’ clock at night on my own. david there is an offer on Liverpooltheatres.com for 50% off Heathers with promo code heather50 (no “S”)

There seems to be a hesitancy on the part of a lot of theatres to do deep discounting at this time. They all need to put forth the illusion that everything is back to normal. To admit that people aren't yet returning to theatres in droves would send a bad signal to the general public.

Aren’t discounts the domain of the producers rather than the theatre owner? I’m sure ATG still gets the rent from the various productions plus any bar sales.

I'm not so up with how the regions work, deals can be guarantees or splits, or a hybrid of the two. Discounting is something producers and venues are wary of though. Studies have shown that often discounting may fill a few more seats but with the gross total on a performance not being noticeably better, whilst the message goes out to the potential audience that it's not worth paying full price, because there'll be offers nearer the time. It's tricky.

Conversely a empty house will affect the atmosphere that in turn will affect word of mouth, that could affect future ticket sales. This is more likely in the West End that on tour.

Fine tuning my plans for December and I am aghast that the ATG website is still - STILL - completely useless when it comes to either logging in to my account and finding a list of my bookings. How difficult is it to put in a My Account button and a My Bookings button, prominently displayed on the front page? I just cannot fathom who is profiting - the customer gets shafted and the poor admin staff have to deal with hundreds if not thousands of messages which could be solved with two buttons!

Trying to access your account should be front and centre on their website on the but ATG don’t seem to think it’s needed (yet every other purchasing website has this facility). I do wonder when the website got its facelift, why nobody even thought about accessing accounts easily. They also appear to have removed the upcoming shows info as well. This has to be the most frustrating theatre website to use. Not user friendly at all.

When I made a last minute trip to ‘Grease’ in Bristol last week the whole of the Upper Circle was unsold when I left home, yet 45 minutes later when I got there it was somehow full? Magic!

I am not a fan of ATG despite being a card holder.
They still make it hard for card holders to swerve on the booking fees, even with a new website layout.
They also offer ticket protection, how good this is, is anyone’s guess? Now you have to “opt out” from this service, rather than “opt in.” I have bought a ticket twice before, when I didn’t really want this service.

I had a booking to see Bat Out Of Hell at the New Theatre Oxford last Wednesday 6 October, matinee performance. Was then notified by ATG about 6 weeks ago that the whole run at Oxford had been put back a week and my booking transferred to this coming Wednesday 13 October, same time and seat. Unfortunately I can't make that date and completed the request to receive a refund or credit instead.
Last contact was a holding reply on 10 September and I'm now receiving reminders/COVID advice about my booking on 13 October so clearly nothing has been done. Tried to contact ATG but always just get a 30 minutes plus waiting time message every time and I can't find a direct line number to the Oxford box office. I have left a message on a Stage Door number but not confident they will be able to help.
Now just a bit concerned that if October 13 passes I can't prove I didn't go. Any views or alternative number ?

ATG customer service is absolutely dreadful.
I feel so sorry for those wanting to book access tickets. They cannot do it online anymore and have to ring a number instead. Twitter is full of people being on hold an hour a day, at a big cost to their phone bill, day after day and the call never getting answered.
Is it not against the law to treat people with a disability in this second class way? It is certainly totally immoral.

It is a real double standard as the individual shows will have been desperate for us to support the arts during lockdown, but are represented by a company that refuses to plough the required resource in to get everything back running smoothly for the customer.

They are just ignoring queries on social media now. No response to any twitter queries since October 1st.
Their customer service is diabolical.
I needed help recently re a booking and rang (no answer), emailed several times, tweeted, dm'd. I only eventually got a response as the show I was trying to sort tickets for escalated it with ATG on my behalf, otherwise I would still be waiting. This was several months since the initial query too.
It really is not good enough.

I suppose it’s one way to refill the coffers.

Best to tweet them, not DM. Shame them into action. Covid is no longer a valid excuse for poor customer service or a lack of manpower. It is a cynical and manipulative excuse.

That is my point though. They haven't replied to any tweets since 1st October. They are just ignoring them.

I'm honestly thinking about cancelling my ATG Card. They make it so difficult to login to get the discount that if you're buying tickets in a hurry, it's actually easier just to pay the fee. I never get emails about presales despite repeatedly signing up to their list and their website remains the worst I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. If they haven't introduced a simple, easy to navigate My Account button and list of bookings, they never will.

Always been there for me ref bookings..log in..scroll to bottom of page ..click on manage account..brings up recent bookings which can be clicked on to open up the booking.. if they don't go back far enough click on management options and then order history then you have the whole list...
