I live in Australia so should I go and see Cursed Child in London or wait for it to come to Broadway. And go and see Dreamgirls in London as well?

It might be easier to get tickets for Broadway, if you're quick enough when they put them on sale.

Agreed - depending which on-sale comes next, see what tickets you can get and build around that.
Prices are probably gonna be higher on Broadway though.

And there's still no guarantee that Dreamgirls will transfer to Broadway (though most people expect it will next year once Amber's finished her run in London in Nov and had a bit of a break).

Or you can hold your breathe a bit longer and wait for this to be in Australia, which it will.
Harry Potter isn't going anywhere, so if there are other shows you also fancy seeing, see those first. Or if you are a complete Potterhead (like mos people seem to be), go where you can get the ticket the quickest.

I would agree, with Phantom and Monkey - if this show is on both sides of the Atlantic, base your choice on whatever you want to see most that's just in one city.
Otherwise I'd suggest London for Harry Potter - chances are fairly good to secure a ticket whenever a new booking period opens and tickets do become available fairly regularly. It seems Britain is doing a lot more to combat touts and bots, too. I wouldn't be surprised if half the tickets to Harry Potter on Broadway will be scooped up by bots and offered on resale sites for ludicrous sums Hamilton-style. And even if not, yes, I'm sure regular tickets will be way more expensive in NY, too.
