Happy 100th birthday to someone who inspired many people during difficult times in the past. It was a joy to watch the BBC2 programme dedicated to her and hear the comments of Tim Rice, Barry Humphfries and the like. Being an ex-pat songs like "We'll Meet Again" and "The White Cliffs of Dover" will always remind me of my roots. Thankyou Dame Vera.
