Weirdly, I was thinking about Alecky Blythe last night and wondering what she’s been up to lately. The last thing I saw of hers was Little Revolution at the Almeida but that was ages ago… anyone know if she has anything in the pipeline? She had 'Our Generation' at the NT a couple of years ago.

Not a big fan of London Road, so I'll give it a miss

I still stand by my opinion that it’s a play with music. Had a heated debate with a lecturer once. 🤣 it was one of the first productions I saw at the NT, I want to revisit and see if I change my opinion 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Trust me if you knew how hard it is, you wouldn’t be calling it a play with music. On the flip side it’s one of the most difficult and challenging musicals in the history of musicals. Your lecturer is correct.

Oh this is 100% a musical, and a nightmare of one to learn!

Looking forward to this. I wasn't able to see it during the original runs, and I love the film.

Throwing my hat in the ring and saying it reminds me more of an opera the way it's made with words written first then set to music and such. It's very neoclassical.
I love this show a lot. Bloody difficult to learn and sing but very poignant and shockingly very catchy for how unconventional the structure and flow of the music can be.

Realising I shouldn't be going along the street singing under my breath "us-ing his hands, to demonstrate, Peter Wright explained... how for-ensic, scien-tists had extracted..."

Booked to see this in June. Can’t wait to see it again… but blimey, the booking process was stressful! Logged in bang on time and was 967 in the flipping queue… 🤪
