It has always blown me away, when I see Billy Elliot and that is the Swan Lake scene when the cygnet becomes a fully fledged swan and learns to fly, however I was wondering if the flying is unique to Billy Elliot or do they do this regularly at Swan Lake in the ballet?

I have seen flying once in Swan lake - Scottish ballet - 1994 or 95. Can't quite remember the date but the production designed by Conran. The 10 ish other productions I've seen did not use flying. However flying is used quite often in ballet

Great
Are we saying this flying could be unique for Billy Elliot?
