Brilliant speech and well deserved. I too wish Dev had won but he is still young and will have plenty of chances, his career has blown wide open with this nomination!  |

It's incredible that, if Viola and Denzel, who are two favourites in their category win, three of the four acting catagories will be won by people of colour! Just incredible! |

It's incredible that, if Viola and Denzel, who are two favourites in their category win, three of the four acting catagories will be won by people of colour! Just incredible! Such a turnaround. The nominations are one thing but wins would be the icing on the cake. |

Now Costume Design... whilst the Costumes were beautiful in La La Land, I'd guess Jackie to win. Could La La Land lose its first now?

Wow, that was beautiful! She is a beautiful singer, and the staging of the number was stunning with the silks moving as waves! I must admit, I did have a slight chuckle when she accidently got hit in the head with one  Lin didn't do much at all, just about three lines of monologue at the start. It felt a bit like they just threw him onstage because he is famous now rather than for any real reason.  |

Not a great vocal, probably due to nerves. Loved the wafty dancing!! Did one of them clip her as they went past??
Not heard the song before but you can tell Lin-Manuel was involved!
