Hoorah! There had better be some Jonny B action there.

When will tickets go on sale?
And exactly how many months is 16 weeks? It's too much maths for me to work out.

Ian McKellan normally insists that cheaper tickets are made available. Even so Mckellan playing an iconic role, will mean a sell out regardless of ticket cost.
16 weeks about 4 months.

Hoorah! There had better be some Jonny B action there. I’m hoping so too. I’ve had to give up my tickets to The York Realist because of other plans and was looking forward to seeing what all the fuss was about.

This is exciting.
Is anyone with priority access able to provide any information about pricing tiers?
Need to know how many punters I need to get in before noon to be able to afford a half decent seat 😜

Any idea if rest of cast transferring with it?

Very helpfully, I have heard that some cast members will return while others won't, but nothing specific. Looks like the lowest price is £25. I've hopped in the queue in spite of myself, but I'm very reluctant to see King Lear again (especially having already seen McKellen in the role) so will probably hop out again once I get to the front and have a look around. So don't despair if there are hundreds of people in front of you, at least one of them is probably me!

Was wondering if Sinead I can't spell her surname, you know who I mean was transferring. I too have seen McKellen first time round. Am in queue, will probably get there, be horrified to find back of circle is all I can afford and come back out.

"Number of users in queue ahead of you: 1514". Oh come on, I have a meeting in two hours...

Some one has to ask the question otherwise this wouldn't be an official theatreboard thread. WIll there be day seats? Presume so as the Duke of Yorks always seem so to do them and it alteast means I wont be in the gods.

I'm through but can't work out how to select a seat (no seatplan given), then it said 'timed out" (after 3 mins?) and it's all damn expensive.

I'm on the ATG site, btw. I've never bought tickets at this venue before - do other sites sell them, too, and with more user-friendly layouts?

Other ticket brokers may have availability, but ATG is the most direct source so will charge the least in fees (though it's still ATG so there'll still be silly fees).
Apparently it is my turn and I am being redirected to the website, but it's been telling me that for two minutes now so I'm not holding my breath.

Right!
No seating plan, just a list of price bands. Champagne Seats (Stalls, £100), Super Premium (Stalls, Royal Circle, £125), Band A (Stalls, Royal Circle, £75), Band B (Upper Circle, £57.50), Band C (Upper Circle, Upper Circle Restricted View, £37.50), and Band D (Upper Circle, Upper Circle Restricted View, £25). There's also allegedly options for Premium Seats, Band F, and Band D Boxes, but I'm not allowed to selected any of them so I can't confirm prices.
I'm getting timed out a lot, and I'm really not a fan of the upper reaches of the Duke of York's, so I'm out. Good luck everyone!

Gosh. What a faff and you don't even get to choose your seat.
I think I'll just wait outside and kidnap Jonny B instead. I mean, I was planning to do that after the show anyway so I may as well just cut out the middle bit . . .
I blame Panter and Squire for this. I hope they lose all of their money in a Nigerian Princess email scam.
