Also, anyone gonna tell her the Savoy has nowhere near 1900 seats, it's just about 1,150.

I was there that night - it was a very emotional but amazing night. Marisha didn’t just stop to breath, she completely broke down when she put her head on the table as she was so overcome with emotion. Entire theatre were on their feet cheering. You can’t blame her...this is one of the biggest songs and parts to play and this was her final time?! Sonia Friedman was in the box and also cheering her so loudly. There were also standing ovations after Listen, Brennyn also broke down after that and her and Marisha were hugging for ages - she seemed very emotional with the standing ovation. Then, of course, a standing ovation as soon as the finale end which lasted all throughout the bows, speeches and final Dreamgirls reprise. Entire cast were emotional, the finale scene was so so so emotional for me.

Or she’s just bullsh*tting I just watched the curtain call speech and it made me laugh that Sonia is literally stood next to Marisha and Sonia said in her speech "1119 people (plus standing room)" were in the room. So how Marisha for to 1900 I have no idea. 😂😂

The two houses they want on Broadway are currently occupied. The Neil Simon has Cher and the Hudson had Burn This both without closing dates so I bet Dreamgirls will probably come in the spring of 2020.

I don’t really follow The Voice so hadn’t seen Nicole Dennis’ audition/singing with J-Hud until it came up on my youtube recommended but damn she sounded GOOD! Especially on And I Am Telling You. If she gets far enough in the competition I can see the Dreamgirls tour being “Starring The Voice’s Nicole Raquel Dennis” if it’s still happening.
P.S. with Ruth and Karen as her alternates 🤣

Some sad news on Twitter from Marisha that her Jimmy Early when she did the show in Dallas Eric L. Summers has lost a long battle with cancer. Whilst not to do with the London production other than the Marisha and Dreamgirls connection, still important to pay our respects and with him to rest in peace and sending all the love to his family and friends at this sad time.

Merged. We only have separate tour threads if the WE and Tour are running concurrently.
All hail the Crystal Curtain 🙌🏻

Would like to see it, but can't bear The Song. Don't let one song put you off, it's only 5 minutes, you might love the rest of it. All of the other songs in the show are a lot calmer than that one!
