If you're looking up flights before booking, you should always clear your cookies before going back. They know when you've been looking at flights otherwise, and that's why the prices go up, to panic you into booking while also making a little extra profit. Give it a try! Not just flight websites that do this. I came across it on the Wicked website last week as I booked tickets in two batches. After booking the first, the ticket prices all increased by £3 per seat. After clearing cookies, went back down to the original price. It did annoy me.

Has our resident Shwartzophile Michael seen this production? Assuming you're speaking of me: No, I haven't. Apart from Britain and the US, I have no idea what's going on in the Musical world, so I didn't even know there was a Pippin tour let alone it would visit Amsterdam until I've read about it in this thread. And it's only recently that I (more or less accidentally) found out there was an International Tour of JCS and that it was visiting Frankfurt (only 15mi from my place). That said, I never enjoyed Schwartz' other musicals (Godspell, Pippin and Children of Eden) that much, and as Amsterdam is a 5h train ride away and as I only have on free weekend in April where I'm not out and about, I'm giving it a miss.

Does anyone who has seen Pippin or seen clips of it, know how on earth they do the trick in Morning Glow (end of Act 1) with the levitating and the disappearing?

The Hope Mill and Aria Ents complete their hat trick of musicals for 2017 with a production of Pippin in August. Wow. Can't wait! The other two are Yank! and Little Women.

Exciting. Love Hope Mill, it's almost like having the Southwark Playhouse in my backyard:) Yank! Sounds interesting too but not sure about the title. it sounds more gay porn than gay musical. It must be the exclamation mark, I wonder how long it took them to come up with that?

I love an exclamation mark. I can't think of a musical whose name wouldn't be hugely improved by one.
Les Miserables! Wicked! Hamilton!
See? It works every single time.
Anyway back to Pippin(!). I wonder if we're getting the circus theme or if they're taking it in yet another direction? Agree about the Hope Mill being our very own Southwark Playhouse, I love it.

Love the venue, love the art work, love the idea of the plot (never seen the show)so what's not to like. I shall buy me a ticket!

So, this previews on 23rd August and as was the case with Yank! I'm amazed that these small venues get the show on with little more than 3 weeks of rehearsal. I'd need three months! For one song!!!!
High hopes for this, love the Broadway revival cast recording. Im thinking they'll go back to the original "troupe of players" concept which seems more feasible for a small space, but who knows, they might do something completely new with it?

what are the chances of a London transfer? Um, possibly a question for after we've seen it? Aria/Hope Mill doing well lately though...

Whereabouts in Manchester is Hope Mill? Is it easy to get to from the city centre?
Very interested in this. I seem to be on something of a Stephen Schwartz kick at the moment.

It's in Ancoats, one stop on the tram from Piccadilly train station to New Islington then a 2 minute walk. Or a 15 minute walk from Piccadilly, or 5 mins in a cab from Piccadilly. If you decide to go, let us know and we can give you more details
