It's totally out of character, so much so they're filming it a day earlier than the show. I can forgive them anything this week, Robbie Williams is the guest judge! 😍 He has pulled out due to illness and been replaced by Peter Kay Ugh. I thought/hoped you were joking Info. I am jumping off my fence to say that Peter Kay isn't just a turn-the-telly-off for me but a give-the-bloody-thing-away-to-charity.

I can't stand him. I don't really like Robbie but he might've been good on this but Peter Kay I just don't like.

The one who was in Thriller (Jason?) seems really uncomfortable.

The one who was in Thriller (Jason?) seems really uncomfortable. Probably because they're making him act like he's never been in a theatre before.

One of Nightfall was very flat on his solo section. Actually he is flat in the harmonies as well.
And Footloose isn't really a musical theatre song...

Is Footloose supposed to be the MT song?

I think maybe he's just a bit more reserved than the others (that, and he's older). They're making a huge deal about these first songs being Musical Theatre, but Footloose is more of a pop song, surely.

Five to Five did a very credible job with that.

First time really watching the show. Recognise Danny Colligan from his time in Book of Mormon

That's proper musical theatre. I think we have our winners.
I know some on here don't like Peter Kay but I find him hilarious.

This is not a good performance of a film song.

I think they're all pretty rubbish. I know singing whilst dancing is difficult thing but jeez they are going to need to improve on that.

The falsetto was awful. It was a bit unfair to make him do it while dancing though.
What does it say on Peter's pad?

Pre-scripted comments - what is the point? Honest critique is necessary not platitudes
