I have recently started using multiple devices to access priority booking - it then does seem to be random as to where you are in the queue so when booking opened at 8.30 my queue positions were:
Toshiba laptop 4100
Apple MacBook Pro 3900
iPad 400
so obviously I went with the iPad and was booking at 8.40am.
Got everything I wanted, which was the bum-numbingly narrow seats (with no back support) at the front for £15/18.

I used only one device (laptop). Logged in about 8.25, five minutes in the pre-queue before booking opened, about 400 people ahead of me in the queue when booking opened at 8.30, and I was at the head of the queue and booking my tickets about ten minutes later. And I got what I wanted (a pair of the cheap seats up front for the first Saturday matinee of The Lehman Trilogy) relatively painlessly.
It appears I was quite lucky in terms of where the system randomly placed me in the queue.

Does anyone know when the next booking period will be because I'm surprised Home I'm Darking was not in this booking as it says it Ionesco in July.

I was at work, where I had to excuse myself from proceedings to go to the office, and had 5 computers all poised in the prequeue. The nearest I scored was 800-odd. The thing I like about queue-it is that you can move devices using your queue ID so once you've got a good one you can copy the URL across to wherever you want to be and continue queuing there, which is what I did. I booked everything in the season because I'm a sap, it's surprising how much money you can spend buying two of everything for £15...

At least you have that option now In the “olden days” I had to go and “make an urgent call” In the middle of the ward round As no proper internet access at every computer I would add this was only about 10 years ago You can’t leave a phone call on idle!! Sometime I had to take half a day leave in order to book for members booking The things we do for theatre 😂😂😂 |

Nothing cheap left when I got in to book early this morning - very disappointing. Is it worth paying for this slightly-advance thing, I wonder? I think I'll chance Friday Rush or returns, thoigh it's risky because of the travel. Lehman has a very early matinee start which is a pain because of the off-peak rail thing.
Looks like they might ad extra dates to Translations and Lehman, though - at any rate, there's no final performance indicator showing on the pages.

Booked Translations easily enough but gave up on Lehman after trying various dates and finding very little. Will look for returns later. The running time for Lehman is given as 3 hours 40, hence the early starts. Achievement of the day- managing to move my best queue position to my favoured device, having seen a comment that this was possible! (Still had half an hour in the queue though)

Lehman Trilogy, Translations and Julie say "Additional performances to be announced" on the season booklet. I agree re:tickets. I presume that they keep back a certain propotion of the cheapest tickets for the public sale. Didn't see any of the cheaper tickets in the front few rows for Lehman. |

That's what I'm hoping for - got an inconvenient date so hoping to find a matinee. The problem for me coming long distance is that I have to book advance rail tickets a some point too. Maybe they'll NT Live it at some point. |

£15 membership tier booking opened. I logged in at 8am and was 700th when it opened at 8.30 but the only cheap seats I found were back of the circle for Translations. I've booked middle range seats for three plays and might try to trade up (or down) with Friday Rush or when a smattering of returns pop up in the days before I travel. I got membership after missing out on Mosquitoes when public booking opened last spring - though for that I managed to get great seats by keeping an eye on the returns page shortly afterwards. |

I always assume they hold seats back for public booking day. Also availability online and via phone are often different. I only booked Julie this time - no problems. |

There are alway tickets kept back for public booking. You make a great point, let me substantiate what you say, a bit more.
I was speaking to Box Office at a similar subsidised venue and he told me "that in order to get art council funding, you have to put a certain percentage of tickets up for sale for general sale i.e. without the need to buy membership", so this is why you see tickets appear, when the general sale occurs.
It would be strange if this didn't go to the next booking period. given all tickets have sold out, before going on general sale or no marketing and reviews, well if it didn't go into the next booking period, then it would transfer.

Amex booking has opened; I've taken a reasonably priced preview ticket from the Amex allocation for The Lehman Trilogy, but will hold on for Friday (or future returns) for Translations and Julie. Fingers crossed everyone will be rushing for Lehman come public booking, and I can saunter in and book the other two as painlessly as one might hope for on NT public booking day.  |

Thought I would try public booking to see if any £15 front seats for Translations would become available. 17th in the queue so was through very quickly. For each performance 2 seats at each end of row C appeared that were definitely not on sale when I logged in an hour earlier. I did not bother as I am content to take my chances for a more central seat as a return or in the next booking period.

I have a feeling that some of the front rows seats are also kept back for Friday Rush. IIRC I picked up tickets for The Red Barn and The Flick in the front few rows in Friday Rush. |
