When it comes to collecting tickets are there separate box offices for the three venues within the National or is it all from a central collection point? I hardly ever go to the National before and I’ve had the tickets delivered so I really don’t have a clue where I’m going (equally I’ve only ever been to the Lyttelton before but have shows booked for the Olivier and Dorfman) Each theatre has it's own box office. For the Olivier it's on the same floor as the Olivier stalls and for the Dorfman it's fairly prominently in the ground floor bar area.

If you're rolling up maybe half an hour before the show and collecting your ticket on the way into the auditorium, then yes, each auditorium has its own ticket desk. The Lyttelton is the main desk on the ground floor (which is also where you can collect any ticket at any time that hasn't already been printed), the Olivier has a desk on the Olivier stalls level (near the lifts on the left-hand side), and the Dorfman has a desk straight ahead when you walk through the door, tucked in next to the bar.

Just got home from Pericles and it was just brilliant and beautiful. It had great songs and music, fabulous costumes ,great staging and a very talented and diverse cast. Everyone in it was brilliant and it was just such a joy to watch and felt the like something very special to watch and I can’t really describe it but WOW is all I can really say right now , I urge that if you can try and get a return ticket to see it. Even with a show stop 30 Mins in the audience loved it and I wish I could see it again. It’s just brilliant and I wish there is a cd as the music is great.

Following last week's NT publicity on e-mail and Twitter was tempted to return my ticket for tomorrow night(Tue) as appeared to be only tenuously linked to the Play.
Good to hear positive feedback from @robadog along with the favourable feedback on Twitter, will now go with an open mind and leave my Shakesperian 'purist' tendencies for my trip to the RSC this weekend.

I'm also interested now that I've heard good reports but I'd never normally consider seeing a Shakespeare; it takes an unusual production to appeal to me, which was why I eventually went to see the recent version of Julius Caesar at the Bridge. But as this one ends tomorrow, no chance unless they revive it soon.

Looks like we should be getting an update in the next few days with full play information, since these talks have just been added to the website:
1/ A talk with/about Martin Crimp (Feb 15th 2019) so presumably this means that "When We Have Tortured..." will be coming soon,
2/ A talk with Pam MacKinnon & Bruce Norris (Mar 15th 2019) so presumably "Downstate" will be playing around this date and announced soon.
3/ A talk about Tartuffe (Apr 25th 2019)
4/ A talk with John Donnelly (Apr 27th 2019)
Does anyone know what the third and fourth talks relate to? I don't see these listed in the 'coming up at the NT' page.

I think it is time the National embraced Esperanto as a performance language - I think Tartuffe would make an ideal first choice in the Esperanto season

The RSC Tartuffe is I understand very Birmingham so maybe it wouldn’t go down so well at the Barbican.

There are other Churchill’s that are far more ripe for revival,. Cloud Nine or Vinegar Tom, for example, which both address questions of gender. Serious Money and Mad Forest would also be good to see again and the Royal Exchange Skriker showed that it stood up very well. Top Girls in some sort of reinvention then maybe as the play would benefit from that but much less so in a staging retread.
