When I went to Vegas in Feb I booked two weeks before I went- so couldn't plan around what was on etc. I just has to work with what was on, on the dates I was there.
I saw KA and O and I was stunned by both; I preferred O due to how visually stunning I thought it was, but the rest of my family loved KA; it's exactly what you would expect from a cirque show. I got tickets from the shows respective box offices' on the day and managed to get about $45 off each ticket so a $225 discount on each show, of which I didn't complain about.
As for concerts; we managed to nab some Celine tickets the day before on the off-chance while walking through Caesars. What a stunning show; I've always wanted to see her live and she didn't disappoint. We also went to see JLo as my mum and sister really wanted to see her; she was also amazing.
The next day we somehow met Diana Ross' manager whilst eating at the Wynn, he invited us to the show later that evening, all of our family are massive Motown fans, even my 10 year old brother knew all the words to 90% of the songs she sung. She performed a very intimate concert and the atmosphere was electric! She definitely still has it!
I absolutely loved all of the shows; I think whatever you see whilst at vegas will not let you down!
Also quick note; DO NOT GET MONORAIL TICKETS- what a waste of money- we got a refund, I mean the stops are at the back of the hotels. The back of a hotel in Vegas is still about half a mile from the strip!!

I absolutely loved all of the shows; I think whatever you see whilst at vegas will not let you down! There's one exception. Mariah Carey... She still wants to sing her famous high and low notes. Sounded like Dory speaking Whale. But there is always good music and singing at Cirque.

Hi, maybe someone is interested in a few updates.
Unfortunately Zumanity was closed cause of Covid and didn’t open again. The Theatre is now used for their new show „Mad Apple“ which uses Comedy acts, ab bit of artistic acts (I unfortunately didn’t like at all) and singing. The comedy was hilarious funny the night I went, one act was bought one week before opening night. But the rest was just mediocre for me in relation to other shows I know from Cirque.
Mystere got a bit of a revision since my last visit. The plot with Alice was lost, it only appears at the end, if they didn’t change it again. Alice is the big snail at the end of the show. The snail popped up in smaller and growing version during the show and that was no more. (I liked it)
Love was also revised again and became a lot smoother and version after the big revamp.
KA and Love have a lot of empty seats during the week. There were also no real discounts in may.
O wasn’t changed anything as far as I know.
And cause it’s mentioned here often. Le Rêve also closed. The pool was filled up. Rumors are that there will be a new show. Unfortunately I don’t know what to expect.

I haven’t seen any previous Cirque du Soleil shows so can’t compare them but I saw Love tonight and was impressed (I’ve been staying at The Mirage and as it will be demolished next year I don’t know what future this show has): I’m not the biggest fan of the Beatles (my dad used to love them but I’ve always preferred the Stones but I don’t think the same sort of show could be made from their singles) and there’s not really much of a logical flow to proceedings apart from ending with All You Need Is Love but I don’t think you need to be a master detective to work out it’s going to end with that by seeing the title : I don’t know if I’d want to see it again but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

First, the Mirage won’t be demolished but the vulcano. A huge guitar shaped Hotel will be build there. I don’t think that LOVE will survive 2024. The show had ups and downs. Last time I saw it was may last year. If possible people who are in Vegas should catch KÀ and LOVE. They both struggle with low attendance.

The volcano (which is currently switched off for the upcoming Grand Prix) isn’t that big: you couldn’t build a ‘huge’ anything on the area it takes up, and why would you build one hotel directly in front of another?

When I checked out and got a cab from The Mirage and asked about the planned work, I was told they’re not expecting any ‘major work’ to be carried out before 2027 so I think Love might run for a long time yet.

Best you check out the plans and pictures easy to google. No need for me to discuss it.The plans from Hard Rock are pretty clear. Sure they can change their mind and demolish everything, but it is not their plan yet. LOVE struggled with audience attendance since reopening. The contract was first extended through 2023 then trough 2024 in June. Time will tell and it’s only my opinion.

Just saw KÀ again. The show has hugely improved. They start to bring the music, from excellent composer René Dupéré, more in focus, by bringing the singer sometimes front of stage and in the auditorium. Also the musicians are on stage from time to time.
The characters are more improved and present, it feels nearly like seeing a new show.
I can also recommend to sit in front. Yes, you have to look way up, but it’s worth it. So you can see and feel the incredible high of the stage.

Cirques LOVE is set to close. The final performance will be on July 7 2024. Saw the show several times. First time in 2007, last time in 2022. Loved it most bevor the big overhaul, didn’t like it during the last years. The Mirage Resort will change to Hard Rock Hotel during the next years.

Confirmed that the Mirage will cease operations on July 24th, paying 80 milllion dollars in severance packages to its employees: a shame as I really enjoyed my stay there last year but nothing in Vegas lasts too long 😥

It was talk of town, that KÀ at MGM Grand would close next, but surprisingly the show will get two more years. Cirque confirmed this a few days ago. It will run into 2026. At the moment I think that KÀ is their strongest show on the strip. They had put a lot of work in it and I really enjoyed my last two visits. But the show always struggled to find its audience unlike “O”.
