Well.....it really time we heard buzzings from Bankside. With a Summer of Love sorted the incoming AD-whoever-should be starting to assemble teams for 2018 0peners.I sincerely hope that it will be AD rather than season director...needs continuity of planning for both spaces.Still hoping Eve Best gets the call or Lucy Bailey,Jonathon Munmby...all exciting directors with an understanding of Globe.Maybe get Mark Rylance to plan one interim season to get 'the lost'back into the building and ensure that the newcomers discover that the past here was every bit as thrilling.Certainly cant accept that no directors will touch a poison chalice...this house needs to be positive and move forward. Will be interesting to see if DVD's issued of last season.....thinking especially of the soundtrack for Imogen which must be tied up with so many artists labels etc.
Lets really hope for news soon....or at least an AD ad to look at revised job spec.

Has anyone ever attended a performance at the Globe Theatre in very foggy weather?

maybe a season installation of fog.....under new AD. all directors must use fog for each play...real or artificial.Macbeth opens and then your guess as good as mine. Will bring lots of excited newcomers into building and get rid of seating differencials as we will all be shrouded in the stuff.Come to think about it ...thats my USP to apply.

From the Globe's twitter feed. Wonder if Emma Rice has signed up?
