Thanks. I wondered at the time, I just forgot to ask. It's cleverly done.

After some of the Wicked fan-girl behaviour George seems practically sane - and it's not as if he's trying to find out where she lives to go and drink her bath water! (Are you George...) [winking smiley] Exactly. The time to worry is always when someone tells you they are going to the Stage Door with baked goods!

Oh, the mention of prop malfunctions reminds me. When I saw the show (June 1st matinee), Natasha's moustache kept falling off during Rat Tat Tat Tat with some very funny comments from her. I'm guessing that's not scripted to happen? The whole audience was in stitches, or at least everyone in the front stalls where I was. Yes, I believe it happens at every show, even when Sheridan was on too. It happened on the 16th performance and by the end she stuck it on her forehead, which made everyone laugh even more.

It's not obsession. If you really knew me in real life, it's not all this crazy, weird thing that people think it might be. Okay I might go on abit but she is my favourite actress. So sorry if I do go on though, I don't want you to think of me as some weird stalker because I'm really not. I'm fairly young too so it's not even anything that big I'm fairly young myself and very much young enough to remember my very early twenties. I don't see age having much to do with it. It is coming over as an obsession, it's great that you love theatre and musicals, but the Sheridan fixation is a bit much for me and it is coming over as obsession and to me a bit stalker like. I've had some experience in that and in all honesty, people who are don't often even realise they are either obsessed or beginning to stalk. We all have a favourite actress, or sports person etc, she may be yours, but as I said, and I'm not being horrible here, but it does make me feel uncomfortable from time to time. Well it comes across fairly horrible. I'm way younger than you! I'm in my teenage years so i dont know how I can be a stalker now! For goodness sake! Don't take everything so seriously because nothing's bad. I'm simply happy about the prospect of potentially meeting my favourite actress?! I'm not going to go round trying to stalk her... Goodness me! Sorry for getting happy over certain things

Sure i made it about you previously but a few things youd said here and in another thread made me think you were younger than that. Im convinced what you have is youthful exuberance rather than obsession. I was much like yourself in my teenage years though my outlet was various bands of the day rather than musical theatre. Hopefully youll soon be able to attend shows more freely and youll be able to post here about other shows you enjoy a little more. Youre passionate about what you do like and intoxicated by the bright lights of the west end. Im sure weve all been there in one way or another.

Goodness me! Sorry for getting happy over certain things You said you was 22 before. I'm sorry if you believe that, I am not being horrible, as I said, certain aspects of your behaviour make me feel quite uncomfortable, I'm sorry, it's just how I feel. I find it too much, especially on a thread for funny girl, maybe a fansite may be the place. I don't see how it is horrible, you express your feelings every day about Sheridan, all I am doing is expressing mine. It can be too much for me, that's all. It's nothing to do with being happy, others are happy, I am happy, this isn't being happy.

George, don't let the old queens kill your joy. How am I an old queen? I'm actually young myself. Thanks for the insult though, much appreciated.

Gosh, if George is making you uncomfortable you should stay well away from tumblr! His enthusiasm is really rather sweet and innocent compared to what you'll find on there.
As a peacekeeping suggestion, how about we move discussion about George meeting Sheridan to the thread in the performers section, and keep this one for the show itself? Maybe the mods could relocate the relevant posts.

I'm in my teenage years actually. I found it fairly horrible, but that's my opinion. I'm not meaning anything about Sheridan in a weird way so sorry if that comes across like that to you..

Yes, back to Funny Girl.
I'll concede on my third viewing of the show that the moustache is a plant.
Natasha in bits at the end, overwealmed by yet another standing ovation for her performance.
Brilliant night.

Yeah I think there was that assumption, my username number is just random. Yeah it's not an obsession that I can't get rid of, at all. I just shared my thoughts and what was going on. I'll try posting more about a wide range of shows rather than just this thread now, I've seen loads and loads of West End shows already! I would love to post about them but I saw them at the beginning of the year so i dont know if It's too late to post about them now?

I hate going under ground when in the stalls as I feel claustrophobic yet the temperature in the rafters is unbearably hot.

Cabaret, DRS (controversial), Gypsy, now FG, then Dreamgirls. Brilliant run by the Savoy.

It does seem to have upped its game as a theatre. I really enjoyed Dirty Rotten Scoundrels too.

Yeah this is why I love the theatre even more! DRS, Gypsy, G&D have all been great shows for me! I've loved them all! Plus Funny Girl and Dreamgirls are bound to be good! The Savoy has some of the best shows around at the moment and recently!

I assume with the Piccadily, AV and Lyceum all occupied by long runners, the Savoy and Phoenix is pretty much the only ATG theatres that are available for musicals although I won't be surprised if the Piccadilly has a new show in the next year or two

The Phoenix seems to be the one for new musicals whereas The Savoy seems to be the one for revivals!

The Phoenix seems to be the one for new musicals whereas The Savoy seems to be the one for revivals! DRS was a new musical as was Legally Blonde so it's not necessarily true, the Phoenix was stuck with Blood Brothers for 24 years and despite what people thought of Once, Beckham and Guys and Dolls, I'm glad they played there rather than a tired long runner.

Intersting... LoveTheatre have a no booking fee offer available for this BUT the offer ends the same week Sheridan is due back. Coincidence or are they having offers for the rest of Natasha's run and then when Sheridan is due back they won't need the offer? www.lovetheatre.com/dates/4562/Funny-Girl
