Natasha really can't be that well, her understudy is on again today, both the matinee and evening show! Is Natasha JB doing the show on part of the tour so that SS doesn't get too worn out? I think it's more that Sheridan can't commit to the whole tour and wants to work on other TV projects etc. |

Darius to play Mr Arnstein when Funny Girl returns to Manchester in August for its final shows. Exciting! I wondered whether this would happen when Darius did the Edinburgh shows with Sheridan. Booked for the closing night, anyone else going?

Chris Peluso isn't mentioned on the Funny Girl website any more - so I'm assuming that Darius is doing all of the remaining dates of the tour.

Has Chris been bad in the role or something? Or is he ill?
My mum will be happy, she was hoping to see Darius along with Sheridan because he was in a band or something?? I wasn't really listening 😂

I wasn't really listening 😂 I didn't rate him. No charisma, too young looking and a funny walk. It was opening week of the tour though, to be fair. I might have a look at what seats are left in Manc if Darius is in it  |

Saw the show in Newcastle earlier in the week and loved it. Lots of changes from London, most notably the moving walkways so slight changes to choreography here and there. Great new cast in the ensemble. Sheridan was beyond words and Darius wonderful.
I could watch this over and over.

Darius is performing at Southampton this week opposite Sheridan and gives a wonderful performance, better than he did in London. Sheridan was excellent as always. Kit Benjamin was also on last night as Mr Keeney in place of Martin Callaghan if anyone is interested.
On a side note, has anyone been to the stage door for Sheridan for this on tour? We were informed last night Sheridan would not be signing due to her schedule and she exited via a different door, I'm sure not by her choice. I was just wondering if this had happened elsewhere, or if we were just unlucky last night?

At Newcastle last week the producer told us she wouldn't be signing as there was a bug going around. She did on Thursday night and Saturday. I think you have more chance if there's only one show the next day, not two, or go on the last day.
I can understand it as the pressure she must be under to perform every single show must be huge! When I did meet her last week she was her usual glorious self. She really is everything you'd hope for and more. Such a lovely lady. Darius is utterly charming too.

When the tour was in Edinburgh Darius came out to everyone through Stage Door and was very nice, taking pictures, signing and even recording a wedding message to someone's friends. Sheridan didn't come out until an hour after the show ended and was very apologetic for keeping everyone waiting. She's a lovely lady. |
