So.... this opens in Manchester in little over a month. Who is playing Nick? I would love to see Oliver Tompsett. He would be perfect!

Ive been wondering this too. With five weeks until the first show of the tour we've had no cast announced since Sheridan was doing some of the dates. I'm keen to know who'll be the other Fanny. Has Natasha got anything lined up after Cinderella? They'd be mad not to offer it to her. Alas Sheridan is on when I go to the tour, but if Natasha was announced I could be convinced to make an additional trip, further afield.

I would've thought an announcement was made this week or the following week? They'll be starting rehearsals soon???
Mind you, Evita didn't announce their cast until like 2 weeks ago and that opens this week....

Mind you, Evita didn't announce their cast until like 2 weeks ago and that opens this week.... That may have been when the Evita rehearsals started. I knew someone who was in a previous Evita tour & I gathered that Kenwright doesn't always give the luxery of 4 weeks of rehearsals!

Anyone else hoping for Sarah Earnshaw as Sheridan's alternate?

Anyone else hoping for Sarah Earnshaw as Sheridan's alternate? She should be lead. She's too good to be alternate. I'm going to see her in Nottingham panto on Saturday.

I thought Chris was in Death Takes a Holiday at Charing Cross up to 4th March?

See there's 2 weeks at the end tagged on for Manchester, according to the link I posted - it doesn't appear on the ATG website as yet.

I thought Chris was in Death Takes a Holiday at Charing Cross up to 4th March? Ah it makes sense now....Chris Peluso is advertised in DTAH until 11th Feb, when James Gant takes over from 13th Feb onward. I wondered why but I see now!

Am I the only one really bored by all of the casting apart from chris Peluso?
he'll be great, but this deserved a new lease of life. Sarah Earnshaw would have been fabulous!

I was also hoping for some new faces, for the sake of variety. I was hoping for Chris Peluso at my local, but Darius was good when I saw the show at the Menier so I'm still looking forward to it.

I think its great casting! To have Natasha and Darius reprising their roles, as well as Sheridan and Chris, it looks like whichever venue you go to, you will get to see great leading men and women!

Am I the only one really bored by all of the casting apart from chris Peluso? he'll be great, but this deserved a new lease of life. Sarah Earnshaw would have been fabulous! It's inspired!! Roll up, roll up! You've read about the "technical difficulties", now see them in person. Expect tears, drama and tantrums and maybe even a show if you're lucky. 'Funny Girl' coming to a theatre near you!

Nicely engineered so Darius and Sheridan don't have to be in the same room together!

Nicely engineered so Darius and Sheridan don't have to be in the same room together! Oh really? I remember talk of relations being "frosty" at the point where the technical difficulties occurred. Did things descend to that sort of level then?

Delighted to have the chance to see Natasha in this once again. Looks like a day trip to Wolverhampton or sunny Llandudno is on the cards.

Nicely engineered so Darius and Sheridan don't have to be in the same room together! That struck me when I read the announcement as well! Shame, they were good together when I saw it at the Savoy. Undecided as to whether I'll see this - very tempted to see Sheridan again, heard good things about Natasha... but lots of venues are already nearly sold out!
