The George thing again?? I'm sorry to go off-topic, but can we re-open the 'General Worries About the Board' thread? Board members are still discussing this and it would be good if messages about George were moved there. I would also like to have a say on the matter, however I don't want to do it here. Would you like it if people were discussing you in your absence? George decided to leave. He didn't share his reasons for closing his account, and we respect that. It's not for us to speculate, and it's not for anyone else to speculate either. If he wants to explain then he can, but that's his choice, not mine or yours. We'd do the same for you if you were the one who'd left. |

I was just saying that if members were to discuss it (which they were and I'm not saying that was right or wrong) then it shouldn't be discussed on a thread that is completely off-topic. Perhaps I worded my message wrong and I'm sorry if you perceived my message as to say we should all talk about him as I did not intend this whatsoever. When I said "I would like a say in the matter", that was in response to the message saying there was bullying going on. |

It was a great show tonight I thought  Matthew plays a very angry Nick. What did you think of Natasha? I really liked her, I definitely prefer her to Sheridan. That last note in "Don't rain on my parade" gave me chills, and watching her attempt to stick the moustache back on her face with her tounge in the second act was certainly memorable. Glad to see you enjoyed Natasha, she really is stunning in the role, some in our audience were gasping at that end note, amazing, easy power in her voice, so natural. Does anyone know if Natasha will carry on with Monday's, I'm hoping to arrange another visit if she is, due to illness I cannot just go anytime sadly. |

As far as I know she is scheduled for every Monday BUT that is subject to change. If Sheridan decides she feels strong enough for the 8 shows a week - she will do Monday nights, but I anticipate if this is the case they'll announce it in advance. Interestingly on Monday night they did not make the announcement of Natasha, only that Matthew was on for Darius |

Maybe he's taking acting lessons. There won't be enough of them to make a difference before the run ends. I'm surprised they didn't save some money and stick a broom handle on the stage while he's been off. Same effect. |

I do hope that Natasha will be doing the tour. I've seen Sheridan twice now and would like to see how someone else tackles the classic songs. I feel sure Natasha could handle the tour and think it would do her career no harm at all. Perhaps Matthew Goodgame would be able to tour making it a strong cast. Just hope they don't cast some soap/reality TV person simply to put bums on seats. Anyway, I've got a ticket for next April regardless of who is playing Fanny.

I'm sure you must get used to it if you're in the public eye, but watching the video of stage door on Daily Mail online it looks so intimidating to have those cameras flashing at the same time as trying to speak to fans who have queued for a photo!

There's an article in the newspapers regarding Sheridan today. Apparently, she's been missing stage door signing Oh God forbid someone does not spend an hour of their time at stage door EVERY SINGLE NIGHT or it becomes "news". Sometimes people are ill or have places to be, the ticket is to the show not also for a stage door experience. Anyway, I am sure Carrie will be along to blog about it all shortly... |
