George, she was just taken to hospital, there is no doubt that should she return, later would be expected, not return now and then someone else take over. If she is out down the line, she is just out, she won't be making a quick comeback only to go again. Maybe your desire to see her is clouding your sense on the matter? I'm sorry for going on but I'm just trying to stay optimistic. Sheridan is my idol and I am so desperate to see her I am trying not to think that she won't be on my show. I'd even be willing to wait until the end of the run to see her if I got to. I am sorry No need to apologise, I was just explaining that there would be no logic in her coming back in two weeks and then leaving again, she cannot know she is not able to do it months later, but be able to after all of this. |

Isn't Samantha a bit old for that role? And also from what I've heard about her in G&D id find it extremely unlikely if she could handle that size a role

The 22 may not be referring to age, in the same may George may not be referring to gender. George could be a favorite character, a last name or simply a name they like to go by. |

I saw her in it a few weeks ago and thought she was fabulous. So she was in Funny Girl in Chichester, a lot better than Sheridan Smith who imho just plays for laughs. Some may disagree but sorry, I didn't find her believable. |

The shows called Funny Girl, I figured she was suppose to be funny Erm.. She's played it before. Brilliantly. Isn't Samantha a bit old for that role? Saw Sam Spiro in Guys & Dolls first week at the Phoenix, not impressed - she forgot the words in Take Back Your Mink, unless the lyrics have been changed to include the line "I don't know what I'm singing any more".Sheridan in this sold The Savoy, original run to July and extension to September, then on to October. I'll be wording my correspondence asking for money back. She really sang that? Heee! |

I saw her in G&D and thought she reminded me of a carry on Barbara Windsor. Louise Dearman in the tour cast is so much better.

I saw her in G&D and thought she reminded me of a carry on Barbara Windsor. Louise Dearman in the tour cast is so much better. She played Barbara in a TV drama about Babs' relationship with Sid James ( Cor Blimey!). It was based on the stage play mentioned above by theatreliker. |

Guys, I don't think the news regarding Samantha Sprio is 100% true as surely an offical announcement would've been made by now?? I think that he was just speculating
