Had an email from Bradford theatre saying touring in June 2017 and tickets on sale. Might be one to add to the list as coming local (ish!).

Spare Ticket for Funny Girl Saturday 10th September 7,30pm - I was supposed to be seeing this with a friend on Saturday night (originally the last night) but he's gone out of town on business. No one seems to be interested in buying them, so I thought I'd go and offer the offer ticket to a member on here. I'm not asking for any money, just that you have a love for theatre like me. If I am inundated with interest (unlikely I guess), I will pull the names out of a hat. I will give you my name to google, just in case this all sounds a bit creepy. The seats are 4th row stalls, centre if that sways your decision.

Well it's settled that Natasha sings 'my heart's a drummer' then.

If what I'm hearing is to be believed, Natasha is being lined up as the tour Fanny...of course nothing is confirmed and things can quickly change but watch this space

Bearing in mind this is now the 2991st post in this thread it's safe to say that Funny Girl has been the talk of the board this year. Here's to the next 3000...

Just was reading the Ghost on Tour facebook page comments and one of the people wrote that they will not be booking for the Funny Girl tour until they know who is cast as lead because they don't want to be caught out twice after Sarah Harding being crap! This Ghost stuff really has p**sed a lot of people off but luckily for us Kenwright isn't touching this tour!

I was at the matinee on Saturday on what should have been the final day after the first extension, and they they extended again ... Oh, how I loved it! Loved! It! Sheridan is a big weepy thing at the end (and my son and girlfriend who went in the evening said the same). Thought she was in great voice. Darius is absolutely " gorgeous"! I always thought it was good casting, dismissing the early comments from others of "wooden" on the other board; I'd say he's improved immeasurably, his voice is lovely, he has *HUGE* stage presence. The rest of the cast work their socks off, there isn't a feeling that it's getting stale after 10 months run. Very well received by the audience. Back for the final matinee next month

I saw a TV programme the other week and it was crap, so I'm not going to watch any other programmes because I don't want to be caught out twice.

He was a real gent! So lovely and made time to speak to everyone. He really surpassed my expectations on the role!

I wouldn't say Darius was wooden but when I went to see 'Funny Girl' at the Menier I got all excited when I saw him leaning by the wall outside and ran up to him to get a selfie. I had my arms around him and took the photo, thinking he was a bit quiet after the show and it was then I realised that the FOH lady had been sweeping the step outside and had put the brush up against the wall. Oh the shame. Of course I jest Darius fans. He was just lovely in the show.

He was a real gent! So lovely and made time to speak to everyone. He really surpassed my expectations on the role! On Saturday I walked back past the Savoy after the matinee with my son who was seeing the evening show with his girlfriend, and Darius was in Pret having coffee with 2 young ladies. I cheekily asked for an autograph, saying I'd seen the show 5 times (wrong, 6 blooming times you daft fan-girl old lady) ... He was as sweet as anything, asked my name, signed the programme, gave me a smile - almost a full on swoon, to the embarrassment of the kid standing outside.. I have a facebook friend (well, daughter of a friend) who has distinct disabilities, she posted a photo of her with Darius at Stage Door a few days ago, I posted a message about my signed programme and how sweet he was, she replied he was one of the very nicest celebs she'd ever met (and she gets about, love her heart).
