...the website, that is.
I noticed on Twitter that Theatremonkey.com is celebrating it's 16th birthday today. What an achievement the website is! It's well clicked on by me - and I'm sure by many board members. I find Steve's exhaustive research on our behalf invaluable when making my bookings and wish him all the very best and long may the monkey continue.

He/she can finally get laid! Form an orderly queue ladies/gents!
Seriously thank you Monkey for invaluable theatre resources, I've used the site for much of the 16 years (eek!) and it's always been so very useful. Of course I'm also grateful for your witty self on here as well!

TM is 16 in 2016? Website of the century, for sure. Seriously, where would any of us be without Theatremonkey to consult? Plus, its proprietor is a thoroughly nice guy and one of the funniest people I know. Many happy returns!!

Hppy Brthdy TM. I often find friends telling me I should check the theatremonkey websites for tickets when they find out I love the theatre. Great resource, great guy.

1000% agree - it's a brilliant resource and clearly a labour of love. Congrats TM - and don't let anyone get away with trying to give you a joint birthday/Christmas pressie...

Absolutely! Congratulations! Think of all the seats theatremonkey has tried out over the years. Some form of ointment may be in order.

Of course this is also one of those moments where you go "Wait the Millennium was 16 years ago...SIXTEEN?!"...

Amazing achievement. I've turned so many friends and family to the website too. Such an invaluable source, even moreso now with the high prices one can get charged for awful seats!
I can also claim to own a signed Theatremonkey book!
Well done Steve!

Happy Birthday, Monkey!!!
I do not even think about buying a ticket for a show without consulting the Theatremonkey website. It's a part of my theatre going routine, and without it, I can guarantee that any & all of my theatrical experiences would be nothing compared to what they are with the database Steve has compiled, ensuring I get the best seat in the house for my buck every single time.
A thank you doesn't seem anywhere near enough to express my gratitude, but there it is anyway!
Three cheers & many happy returns!

Yes, very Happy Birthday! Where would be without your website- sitting in a terrible, cramped, overpriced, restricted view seat, that's where.
Mind you, am I the only one who is the teeniest bit disappointed to discover that your real name is not actually 'Monkey'?

Yes, thank you so much TM. I vividly recall a box office person scoffing at me as I checked the Monkey at the window before purchasing a seat - but not disputing your opinions! Your fame goes far and wide.

Wishing you a very happy birthday, TM!
As with so many of the other Board users, as soon as I start booking for a show I open the TM website with its invaluable green and red seats. I last used it for taking my other half for his first 'big London theatre trip' last year and scored perfect seats, legroom and views for all 3 shows.
Long may you reign :-)

Happy Birthday TheatreMonkey! Invaluable resource - really feel the lack of good seat information when I'm booking shows on Broadway.
