It was the eating of the brownies that did it for me. How many do you think she must have got through in the entire run?! didn't she eat two in the middle and end of the scene? So that's over 200 performances, over 400 brownies. And that's not including dress and rehearsals but I imagine most of the time that was mimed. 😂😂

How rude (and ill informed) to say to Fleeshman - “so, people probably know you best from Corrie, what’s it like to do a musical?”!!!

Yes I thought that too. It is years since Richard's corrie days and he has done so much since.

Saw him in The Last Ship and he was magnificent. What a great performance too in Ghost and a very different kind of role in Company obviously but equally special.Really tired of musical theatre being seen as the poor man’s medium is comparison to tv and film.

Jonathan had Richard’s back though Seen Richard in a few things and at various concerts and he always delivers. I’m surprised he hasn’t become a ‘go to’ name really, but I’m sure Company has opened a few doors. He was very good in Urinetown.

Well this is actually the first I knew of him being in Corrie and I generally like to pay a LOT of attention to what that fella does...so ya learn something new.
But also yes I have a rant for days on musicals as the “poor man’s” anything. To the point a theatre company took to twitter to enact their rage that I dared to say so...but that’s another story

I think something (more than an award/nomination) might be happening with Patti tomorrow night... Company's Instagram posted a a video on their story feed: "1 year ago Patti LuPone returned to the London Stage #OlivierAwards". Feels like a bit of a hint about tomorrow.

Did I miss where they confirmed an Olivier Awards performance? According to the TV guide blurb we can expect performance from Company.
Jason Manford hosts the theatrical awards from the Royal Albert Hall. Nominees in the acting awards include Gillian Anderson, David Suchet, Sophie Okonedo, Ian McKellen and Vanessa Redgrave. The show features special performances from the casts of some of the musicals in the running for awards, including Company, Come From Away, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, The King & I and Six, as well as a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the stage version of The Lion King

Didn't someone post on here or the Oliver thread that Patti has returned to the states?

@kevinuk Company didn't announce it themselves, it's just been made public via the Olivier press release. alece10 Patti's socials seem to indicate that yes but the Company Instagram Story seems like an odd tease if PLP isn't attending the Olivier's.

I have a Company folio poster from the merch stall surplus to requirement. Happy to send it out to someone who wants it.
Not sure how best to pursue it though, first come first served maybe unfair to those not online currently. Suggestions?

Is the poster from the west end revival? Yes. As stated, it's the one that was available at the merch stall in the theatre.
