What are your plans for next year? Lots you want to see in London? Excited for any new openings or cast changes? Or will you be spending a lot of time visiting all the tours planned for next year?
For me personally my schedule already seems busy with tours and regional productions. I must say that not a lot announced to open in London next year so far interests me that much, other than Hamilton and that's towards the end of the year so a long way off. I think most visits to London for Theatre will be return visits to shows to see new casts or just because I've previously enjoyed them. That said, a lot could still be announced for next year yet so hopefully some interesting things pop up.

I have booked to see Rosencrantz e Guildenstern are dead, Glass Menagerie and Virginia Wolf, but I'll buy tickets as soon as I can for The Goat. I'm not very interested in any of the musical of the season, a part from Dearmgirls.

If I can't win of the friggin' lottery, Dreamgirls, Aladdin, Follies, Amadeus, The Boys in the Band, School of Rock, anything by Sondheim or Jason Robert Brown that opens (there must be something, somewhere in London next year).
Non-theatre related I already have a ticket for Robbie's Heavy Entertainment Show next summer.

At the moment, just School of Rock booked. But there is still loads I want to see (and most I probably won't) such as (in no particular order) The Play That Goes Wrong (tour), Rosencrantz and Guildernstern Are Dead (Old Vic), One Love: The Bob Marley Musical (Birmingham REP), Young Frankenstein (in London if it goes after Newcastle), Amadeus (NT), Miss Saigon (tour), The Commitments (tour), Hamilton (West End), Our House (tour). To be honest the list goes on and on, and the year hasn't even started yet so there could be LOADS more announced!

If only theatre-going in London wouldn't involve the long tedious trek across the Channel and the necessity of bank-breaking hotels. I have virtually all my London trips for 2017 sorted and even if I wanted to, I couldn't add more as whatever remaining holidays I have will be used for proper holidays involving beaches, sunshine and whatnot.
Anyway, for January I have: Dreamgirls Rent Lazarus
For April I have: Bat out of Hell in Manchester The Wild Party Virginia Woolf
For another trip in June I've got Woyzeck so far and a second visit to Harry Potter in October. Not sure yet what else I'll be seeing on those two trips. Plan to catch Follies somehow. Not sure about The Goat. I love Damian Lewis as much as the next girl, but I've seen him twice on stage now and it all sounds rather unappealing to me. Might chance it on dayseats if my schedule doesn't fill up otherwise until then.
Here in Germany I have a retro-memorial-trip to Starlight Express booked (28 years after first seeing it!) and the tedious Eurotrash drivel that is Rebecca (of Broadway infamity). I could have done without it, but my mother hasn't seen it before and decided she wanted to, so I need to tag along with plenty of booze in tow. Otherwise I feel so done with what's going on here.
Totally not theatre-related: The Tour de France passes by around 10 kilometres from my house, so we'll spend a day lurking around the street watching them speed by!

And I remember you've enthused about the Young Vic, especially HighTide's sex workers' show See Me Now and Joe Hill-Gibbins' Shakespeare A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Yes, I'm going to press night for both of them. I forgot the date for NT member booking - booked for 12th Night and Ugly Lines the Bone but will wait and see what the reviews are like before booking for the verbatim referendum thing.

Trying to cut down on booking too many things months in advance, so not much booked for next year, but have the following lined up: Million Dollar Quartet at the Royal Festival Hall, first week in January (not expecting too much, but had a Southbank Centre that needed using and it'll be the last thing I see over the festive holidays before returning to work), Dublin Oldschool at the NT at the end of January, My Country, also at the NT in March and Virginia Woolf in May.

I already have a LOT booked for next year. Quite a lot of touring productions that are visiting Cardiff since travelling to London can be tiresome on a regular basis.
So far: Mary Poppins (touring) Virginia Woolf (London) Gaslight (touring) The Red Shoes (touring) Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (London) The Play That Goes Wrong (touring) Wicked (London) Don Juan In Soho (London) Jane Eyre (touring) Funny Girl (touring) Phantom/Les Mis/Harry Potter over a weekend in August Beautiful (touring)
I do intend on booking for the Miss Saigon and Addams Family tours too, may go for Hairspray too but we'll see what the finances are like then.
