All I'm saying is if this kind of thing is what we've got to look forward to then Regents Park is going to be as hot as Barbados come next year!! If only Channing could be convinced to do a short (potentially drizzly) season in London . . .

In my head I queried "Carol"? God I'm old .... But there's a sparkle in my eye after watching this ... De rien. Although, I'd give anything to see Carol Channing throw on a sailor suit and get on down to 'New York New York'. I bet she'd try as well.

Some of the musical numbers are delicious, but it is a show that always promises more than it delivers I have found. Perhaps this production may change my opinion.

Lizzy Connolly never stops working. She's perfect for Hildy ("I Can Cook Too").

Very happy for Lizzy Connelly! She is a fantastic actress and singer, having seen her now in Henderson, Vanities and Wild Party! She really has done so well at such an early point in her career and rightly so. This role too seems a perfect suit for her. I am guessing Drew had something to do with her casting also, as he also worked on Wild Party with her.

Does anyone know if they do dayseats. I want to see this but am apprehensive to book ahead because of the great British weather.

Being the eternal optimist I am about English weather, I have booked now. Last time I was at the open air theatre (for Into the Woods) I was shivering under all layers of clothes I had brought for a summer trip to London.

I may just bring a blanket with me this year. Or the duvet from the hotel...

I always used to take a blanket with me to the Open Air Theatre as it does get a bit chilly as the night goes on but now that I am the proud (yes, proud) owner of a CAPE I take that with me instead AND I can wear it home.
Culture. Comfort. Style. Nailed it.
