I wasn't sure whether this should be posted in the Performers section or here as Singular Sensations is a thing in itself... Anyway, Rebecca Caine (original Cosette in Les Mis, second-ever Christine in Phantom and original Canadian Christine, also in Flowers for Mrs Harris more recently in addition to many other operas and musicals) is featured in the Singular Sensations series at Charing Cross Theatre on 13th November at 3pm. I haven't found a thread for it so thought I'd make one.
I've not been to one of the Singular Sensations before, and this doesn't seem to have had amazing publicity. Rebecca is one of my favourite-ever singers (ever since I heard her on the Canadian cast recording) and I hadn't even heard this was happening until I stumbled across it yesterday by accident. A fairly woeful number of tickets have been sold it seems, and at £20 a pop it's a bit of a bargain. Very much looking forward to it, and I'd imagine she'll at least wheel out Wishing You Were Here Again and a Les Mis number or two, so should be a great afternoon.
