Hooray, we have an "Opera and Dance" section! Better post something ...
Saw this last week, first time I've seen the Richard Eyre production which still looks good despite being on it's 93rd revival. Bargain from Get Into London Theatre - £30 for row G of the amphitheatre.
Loooong evening though with 2 intervals taking it to well over 3 hours. Think I preferred the ENO version ("the one with all the curtains") which got the whole thing done and dusted in about 2 hours.
So much coughing in the audience that I expected some of the audience to expire from TB long before Violetta did.

I think the casts might not have been the most awesome in recent runs, but I quite like the production itself. Sure, after x-amount of viewings, everything gets a bit boring but the production let's the opera tell the story.
I'm pretty excited about Andrea Luisotti conducting later on in the run. If that man can't squeeze passion and richness out of an Italian Opera, no one can.
