Scrap that, I'm seeing Swan Lake but giving Seussical a miss, gave my ticket to a friend. 😊 I don’t think you’ll regret that!

Matilda on Thursday and Elf on Friday both in Cardiff and then at the other end of the spectrum A Christmas Story at Waterloo East Theatre on Saturday evening.
Had an offer for a seat filling opportunity tonight for something I've paid quite a lot to see next Monday which was a bit galling...

The theatrical fund Xmas concert on Tuesday, fingers crossed for proper names (last year was marvellous). Have a look at the Charing Cross Theatre website unless you want it to be a surprise. Proper names of the first order.....

My first play in 5 weeks (aargh, the deprivation and withdrawal symptoms!): Sweat at the Donmar. I chose a matinee as it was slightly cheaper; given my foot I thought it best to play safe and splurge on a stalls seat so I had only one set of stairs to climb, a litte more leg-room and a level surface on which to rest my feet rather than having to perch on a higher circle seat with only a footrest.

For the first visit I have a seat that is 10 pounds only, and I arrive that day in the afternoon. I wouldn't be crushed if I didn't make it that day, so the second visit is to ensure I see it and from a good spot. I gather you did't care for it

I'm happy to be returning to London tomorrow. These are the shows that I have booked for this week:
- Monday: The Band - Tuesday: Kinky Boots - Wednesday: A Christmas Carol & Jamie - Thursday: Bat Out of Hell - Friday: Tina - Saturday: Hadestown & Company
It will be my 4th time seeing Kinky Boots and all the other shows are new. Obviously I'm looking forward to seeing these but I'm also excited about spending time in festive London. Really enjoyed it last year! 🎄

On Saturday I'm seeing SIX at the SEC in Glasgow! Bloody love this show, and I'm so glad it's returned to my homeland. Just hoping for a return to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019 by popular demand!

Tonight - I know it's not theatre but- "Mrs Brown's Boys Christmas special preview & Q & A" at BFI Southbank. I hope I can find it OK & don't end up in the bad behaviour thread tomorrow because of my cold.
