Jane Eyre tomorrow afternoon at the National. I've seen it before on tour, and liked it so much I wanted to see it again.

Apologia (Trafalgar Studios - at last!); Kith And Kin (Bush Theatre) and the final Norman Conquests trilogy day at Chichester. Plus one film before the first two, but there isn't time for another on trilogy day.

Tonight (Sunday): Hamilton at the Hollywood Pantages. Featuring the best Hamilton company currently on the boards.
Then, a quick jaunt to NYC mid-week.
Thursday evening: The Band's Visit. A presumed prime contender for next year's Tony Awards. Friday evening: Torch Song. Off-Broadway revisal of Harvey Fierstein's 80s epic, starring Michael Urie and Mercedes Ruehl. Saturday matinee: M. Butterfly, starring Clive Owen and directed by Julie Taymor. Saturday evening: THE BOSS. Springsteen on Broadway. The reason for this trip. (Plus, it's my birthday.) Sunday matinee: Kinky Boots, starring OBC members Billy Porter and Stark Sands. Sunday evening: ?

We're seeing that fundraiser thing tonight at the Harold Pinter - Whither will we go, I think they're calling it. Cast looks great, Jamie Lloyd directing, and a good cause, so hopefully it'll be worth the late night.

Tonight I shall be visiting the Phoenix Theatre to see 'The Exorcist'. I hope it's not one of those play-a-long showings like they do with 'The Sound of Music'. I've forgotten my crucifix tonight.

It's not strictly theatre, but it will be performance. Going to Liverpool to see Armistead Maupin read from his autobiography and hopefully get a signed copy.

Tonight I shall be at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse experiencing a bum of outrageous numbness. I may also see 'Romantics Anonymous' seeing as I'll already be there.

I'm seeing Uncle Vanya at the Crucible on Saturday. I hope to god it's better than Desire Under the Elms, which made me want to kill people.

Follies (NT); Poison (Orange Tree, Richmond); Young Marx (Bridge) and For Love Or Money (Northern Broadsides at the Rose, Kingston).
The enthusiastic comments here have made me really keen to see Romantics Anonymous at the Sam Wanamaker, but this is the last week for the cheap deal and I can't fit it in, after which the "normal" prices will rule it out.

Touch wood, I'm going to that there London tomorrow. For the first time this year, I don't have any tickets pre-booked.
I do like living dangerously!
