I've got the week off so trying to fit a few things in (on a budget) so it's a bit hit and miss. Tuesday Dreamgirls Thursday hoping for day seat to Half a Sixpence Friday hoping for rush ticket for An American in Paris. Saturday hoping to come along to the theatre board meet up No luck with the rush seats to AAIP so ended up going to the opera!!! Partenope at the ENO. Not a clue what it was about but the music was beautiful and the staging wonderful. Tkts did me proud as £120 dress circle seat reduced to £30 and with a theatre voucher I had the eveninG cost me a tenner. Bargain.

My busiest week of the year with seven theatre shows. It's a case of see them or miss them, so I've spaced them out as far apart from each other as possible.
NEW: 2017 (Royal Welsh College) The annual premieres of four new plays, developed with the Royal Court, Paines Plough and the Sherman Theatre. In rep at the college this week before going on to the Gate Theatre Notting Hill next week.
Pygmalion (Headlong) Their latest reimagined classic is at the Everyman Theatre Cheltenham this week on its lengthy tour.
High Heels in Low Places (Panti Bliss) Irish political drag performance toured by Soho Theatre to the Sherman Theatre Cardiff.
Lifted by Beauty: Adventures in Dreaming (National Theatre Wales) Mark Storor has made a show in Rhyl as a response to austerity.

On Friday I shall be dodging security at the Trafalgar Studios to get to Dishy Douglas Booth at 'Speech and Debate'.
Tom Bateman tipped ATG off about me so I'll be in disguise. If you recognise me don't use my name, use my alias. Tarquin van der Schlampehausen.

Yes, early start! We are in Monkey's slim pillar seats, G9/10, all I could get as I definitely wanted a matinee! This is transferring, evidently, according to post on the show thread.

I am going to.... be disappointed, at this rate: revisiting, after c 45 years, one of the largest cities in the UK and which has several theatres, yet nothing much to see, so far as I can tell. Hence I won't name and shame, but will report back if I do manage to unearth something.
