Tonight I shall be heading to the Donmar to see the delightful Gemma Arterton in 'Saint Joan'. Not encouraged by some of the comments about it on here. I hope they haven't Rouen-ed it.
On Wednesday I shall be schlepping off to the Haymarket to see 'Much Ado About Nothing'. After the Vanessa Redgrave/James Earl Jones version I'll be well prepared and will have the script at hand in case anyone needs a line prompt.
As usual, waves, hellos, inappropriate hand brushes as I make my way to the bar, all welcome.

As a Southern Rail (would-be) passenger I feel like starting a thread entitled "This week I should be going to", as I'm going to lose the tix I've booked. But if a miracle intervenes I may yet make it to Dead Funny (Wednesday) and on Saturday I'm travelling with another TOC to an out-of-town venue so hope FGW doesn't screw up.

This week I am seeing NOTHING thanks to Southern rail. I just don't want to book anything! Getting back home from Cinderella at the Palladium last week ( a ticket I had booked ages ago ) was a nightmare especially with a 10.30 curtain! I did not get home to Brighton until 1.15am!! My dress had turned to rags!
I wouldn't have minded but there was no handsome prince chasing after me either!

I ended up staying in London this week so making the most of some time off and the extra matinees. I saw Buried Child matinee yesterday, Book of Mormon last night.
Today - The Dresser and Love
Tomorrow- who knows! Potentially Nice Fish, or Inspector Calls

Lazarus on Thursday and Saint Joan on Friday, train service permitting (had to give up on a screening of It's A Wonderful Life I'd booked for early Christmas Eve evening due to the whole train network deciding they were going to pack up at half eight, so expecting the worse)
