I finally grabbed a ticket to The Manikins for Saturday 13:00, but am searching for a matinee that starts late enough for me to squeeze in afterwards, and before my 19:30. Six was looking ideal at 4pm but totally sold out! Anything else running 3/4/5pm ish? Any options? Other than that, I have Becoming Nancy mid week. TodayTix is currently doing a 24 hour sale for the final week of I Wish You Well. £15 tickets for a 3PM matinee on the Saturday, show is 60 mins no interval, timing maybe a bit too tight though! I thought the same,so I actually grabbed the 19:30 for that. 😂 I think I'll go for Southwark Playhouse Borough, a 4pm start I believe. Might need to take Sunday off!!

Spoiling myself this weekend with a trip down to theatreland. Seeing Doctor Strangelove tonight, Waiting for Godot tomorrow afternoon and finally getting to see Cabaret Saturday night. I'll probably need to see a chiropractor next week after three successive cheap seats!

Wed 16/10 - The Real Thing, Old Vic Sat 19/10 - Devilled Eggs, Black Liver theatre company. I’ve never come across this company before. Apparently the play has been commissioned by Blackpool Grand. It’s being performed at my local library as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations.

Will be in London for a week, starting tomorrow. Very lost about what I will be seeing. Cake was what I was looking forward the most when I booked my visit, but we all know how that went… Right now only have Fawlty Towers booked (tomorrow evening, nice and short so I can go to the hotel early after an early morning 😴) and A Tupperware of Ashes for Friday evening. Lots of things that I wouldn’t mind to check, but unsure what I will be seeing in the end. Also, really wanted to see Hairspray at Wimbledon, but those prices…think I will have to pass :/

Very cool week for me, Cabaret, Why am I so single?, Hadestown, Mean Girls, Becoming Nancy and The History Boys between today and Saturday! It's my birthday this week so I'm using that as a justification factor. I wonder if I can justify paying my rent a little late too? 😂

Yesterday ended up with a matinee at The real thing, besides my evening at Fawlty Towers. Today should be a blast with Starlight Express for the matinee and Mrs. Doubtfire at the evening. Tomorrow might try a matinee at Stranger Things (never watched the series, but sounds “halloweenie” enough, perfect for the season) and A Tupperware of Ashes at the evening.

Easy start to the week with Leonard Bernstein at the ROH before things come to a juddering climax on Saturday with Strong and Manville.
The River is ending next weekend so a relaxing Sunday in Greenwich is also on the slipway.
May revisit Bacon at the NPG.
