Taking advantage of the dynamic pricing in the west end atm and bagged a Harry Potter ticket for £20 each part! Great seat, hopefully won’t get corona but couldn’t miss this 😂 Haven’t really read t he books or films but I heard visually it is incredible

I'm also getting twitchy looking at availability ... currently torn between a tenner at the Donmar and - it's too much for me, really - £27 at the Southwark Playhouse.

The deals continue, picked up a cheap Dumb Waiter at Hampstead for later this week, earlier in the run than I would have normally booked but the price was too enticing, the Theatre is nearby and the running time short.
At the moment indications from this morning’s briefings it is business as usual for the foreseeable future so will continue to sweep up last minute offers as they come up.

Today - Love At The Musicals, Cadogan Hall (had planned to give this a miss but now filling a seat...)
Tuesday - My Fair Lady - Basingstoke, Anvil Theatre.
Wednesday - Back To The Future + Zorro in Manchester, overnight Travelodge.
Thursday - Phantom Of the Opera, Leicester Curve Theatre matinee
Friday - hopefully a last minute bargain if the West End hasn't shut down by then, otherwise probably Dorian Musical at Other Palace Studio.

This is all very hopeful but I’m afraid that it’s more than likely no theatres will be open this time next week.

I haven't seen Far Away at the Donmar yet and am getting worried it will close before my booking. Might try tomorrow.
What I'm most worried about is Creature by Akram Khan at Sadlers Wells in early April ...

What I'm most worried about is Creature by Akram Khan at Sadlers Wells in early April ... This was looking to be one of my highlights for the year too. It might make thematic sense to join it onto the Akram Khan festival going on at SW around October, but I guess it's unlikely since ENB will be touring Raymonda then. In any case presumably venues like SW will be trying to squeeze in lots of postponed shows amongst an already busy schedule.

For those comfortable being in a public space there are some good offers out there, picked up second row stalls for The Seagull tomorrow for a good price.

Very likely, nothing. I'm feeling somewhat unwell (no symptoms of Covid-19, luckily), and have self-isolated on purpose just in case (working from home, as much as I hate it).
It should have been: Thursday - 6/49, VAULT Festival Friday - Afterplay, Coronet Theatre (for the second time, as a friend's birthday present) Saturday - Dumb Waiter, Hampstead Theatre
I am utterly heartbroken, because I was so looking forward to seeing all three, but it seems like a reasonable thing to do. (Although I'm not sure what is reasonable anymore.)

This week looks like I am going absolutely nowhere. Maybe a day trip to a supermarket to watch people fighting and count the empty shelves.

Museums for me. V&A tomorrow, and perhaps late night Friday as well. Would be rude not to peak in at the Science Museum (and poss the dino one as well).
Plan to cycle as this is the time to strike!
Really very keen for an outdoor, heated swim, so that probably means either London Fields or Charlton.

The local garden centre first thing tomorrow morning to buy vegetable plants & compost. My mother's worried there will be fresh vegetable shortages in a couple of months. I'm too busy worrying that we'll all be dead in a couple of months.

Was originally supposed to be seeing Prince of Egypt and Waitress on Saturday. Think I’ll now watch the Miss Saigon & Gypsy dvd recordings instead

This week I am NOT going to - The Seagull - The Dumb Waiter - Circle Mirror Transformation - Macbeth - The Tempest
Busy week as I had booked some last minute to try to cram in as many as possible before the inevitable and now confirmed closure.
Deleted the first one from my calendar with a heavy heart.

Yes, heavy hearts all round. Jermyn street was building a solid rep with this year’s programme going to be great. I’m sadly not going to The Tempest there and I was really looking forward to it. Also not going to Magic Show Goes Wrong and Cage aux Folles. Have RSC booked for end of May and summer. Who knows? All those lovely tourists in Stratford or rather cancelling their trips. Bad times for tea shops. I suppose they won’t be able to get stuff going and will need to reprogramme everything because of not being able to rehearse and future commitments of the actors and creatives etc. That will go for everywhere.

I was going to see Waitress tomorrow, then Sarah and Gavin scarpered - luckily for them, as it turned out. I had decided to go anyway, until fate intervened.
