I'm still trying to trade in vouchers so Pi on Wednesday, and then Giselle on Thursday - animatronic puppetry (I'm guessing) meets sublime grace.
Also, Wagner's Valkyrie tomorrow at the ENO - my first look at his ring, Matron.

Book of Mormon on Friday. Just hope the changes are not too drastic as offending everyone is the best bit.

Snared two late release tix to the Six tour in Bath for tmrw night. Apparently they are the pull down seats that the ushers sit on at the side. For £15 and less than ninety minutes it shouldn’t be too horrific.

Dave Gahan at the Coliseum on Sunday Oh how absolutely wonderful! (A *huge* DM fan here!) Well apparently he only did one DM song at the end of his set in Westminster last night (John The Revelator which I’m guessing is one of their songs that he has written but still an odd choice but I’m hoping to see other peoples opinions/ descriptions of the set list before tomorrow)

Marwood , in case you haven't already seen it, here it is: setlist. Definitely not much DM, but that makes sense in the context of the album they are promoting. But he has such a great voice and a brilliant stage presence, I have no doubt that it will still be an enjoyable evening. (Do report back if it's not too much of a hassle!)

Yesterday - Bring It On at Peterbourough plus A Chorus Line at Leicester Curve
Monday - Drowsy Chaperone at Union Theatre
Tuesday - Rhythmics and Hex
then a two day non-theatre trip to South Wales followed by
Friday - My Fair Lady at New Theatre Oxford . When I first booked this for May 2020 I could get a coach back to Victoria after the show and catch the last train home. Timetable changes since then mean I now have to travel by train from and back to Paddington and probably night buses from Victoria to Bromley with a pick up at 2am by my partner from there. Not ideal but don't want to cancel the show booking.

But he has such a great voice and a brilliant stage presence, I have no doubt that it will still be an enjoyable evening. (Do report back if it's not too much of a hassle!) It was really good, more of a proper show than the Westminster one sounded like : a support act (didn’t catch their name, they were an acoustic folk duo from Camden so god knows how they got an invite but they were OK), again the Imposter album was played in full (good but there were moments when it sounded like there was too much bass) and rather than the measly one song encore last week, it was five tonight, three Soulsavers songs including Revival, which is fair enough when it’s advertised as a Dave Gahan and Soulsavers show, and in addition to John The Revelator, there was Personal Jesus which to tell the truth, I had got kind of fed up of hearing at DM shows in recent years and used as a cue to leave and beat the rush at the tube station but I really enjoyed it tonight, Dave seemed to be really invigorated singing the DM songs too.
