who would have thought that Trump is a scumbag that sexually molests women and has peodphilic thoughts? I don't understand this "girl of ten" talk from earlier in this thread. Trump said a throw away comment, making small with the parent/guardian of a ten year old girl "I'll be dating her in ten years" so that would make the girl 20 by that time... I didn't realise paedophilia had been extended to include 20 year olds now. I dread to think what a leaked tape of Bill Clinton aboard paedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein's "lolita express" plane would have sounded like, he was on that twenty-something times... and this is the man Hillary wants to bring back into the white house, where he abused his position, and women, in the 90's... invigorate the economy.... sure Yeah it was definitely just a throw away comment... just like his throw away comments about... Muslims Mexicans Refugees Women in general People with disabilities Women who've had an abortion Black people Donald is just a shrinking violet.. he's been misunderstood. It's all a fix!

So if a relative of yours said that I can sleep with a daughter of yours in 10 years time, you wouldn't be worried? First of all, the quote isn't anything to do with sex, the exact quote is "I'm going to be dating her in ten years, can you believe it?" In ten years time, when the ten year old has become a 20 year old, surely who she dates is her decision to make as an adult...?

That he wasn't even considering that she'd have the ability to decide who to date - his assumption that she just would date him because he wanted her - is as worrying as the age difference. But then, when you consider what he has said about and how he behaves with his own daughter, it's hardly surprising. Creepy as hell, but not surprising.

^ 'I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait...' " THEY LET YOU do it" << looks like they gave consent, by letting him and all. In that video Trump is talking about kissing the woman in purple who he is introduced to later in the clip, I didn't see him latch on and start kissing her uncontrollably, it was the kind of talk I've heard hundreds of times- I went to a boys school and heard all the straight guys talking like this to each other, I've heard it at the gym from men of all ages. If this is precedence now maybe we should all have our private conversations recorded and see what each other are saying behind closed doors

And then ten years passed, and he forced her against her will to be his dating slave, right? Because he obviously meant this as a threat to the girl - that he would bide his time for ten long years until the girl on the elevator was of age....

That doesn't make it valid consent. Stop trying to make excuses for this man.

I'm not making excuses. People are hypothesizing the intentions behind phrases... Looking way past their face value and dragging them into the realms of paedophilia and sexual assault...
Rape and child abuse are wrong... The worst things in the world... And that's why I am even talking about this because those things that were said are neither of those terrible things.. They've been dragged there by an angry mob

Grabbing a woman by her vagina IS sexual assault. It doesn't matter if she lets you do it, unless she has given you prior reason to believe she wants that, it isn't something you do. Ever. If a police officer saw someone go up to someone on the street and do that (or to a man's penis) they would be arrested. Because it IS sexual assault. There is no way of knowing whether a random person that you've just met wants that or will 'let you do it'.
You know if it was just one comment maybe people could find a way to justify it or excuse it. But there are comments after comments after comments. The 10 year old, grabbing them by the vagina, Paris Hilton comment, comments about his own daughters breasts and giving permission for other men to call her a piece of ass, telling women they would look good on their knees, 'flat chested women can never be a 10' etc. etc. ETC. Not to mention the multiple accusations from various women that have known Trump of sexual assault and rape. If you can't see by all of that stuff (of which there is audio/video evidence for most of it) that he treats and talks about women in a disgusting and inexcusable way, then honestly I'm worried for you. I'm also worried that you think all men speak like this. They don't.
Trump himself has been asked whether he treated women with respect and said 'I can't say that'.

Donald Trump's comments are inexcusable. Full stop.
I'm against Hillary, but even I am appalled at anyone defending Trump SPECIFICALLY over his recorded remarks.

What is a 46 year old guy doing looking at a 10 year old child and thinking of shagging her. That isn't a throw away remark in my book, it shows a person has dangerous Paedophile tendencies. Not only is a danger to people coming to find work in America, LGBT community, women, but is a danger to children. Anyway Bill Clinton has never been accused of wanting to smash a 10 year old, when they ripen. He also isn't running for presidency. Danger to LGBT people and women? And a woman whose Foundation has taken millions from countries who execute homosexuals and disregard women's rights isn't? I do agree with your point, it would just be nice if the alternative was this paragon of humanity we all want her to be. XXX

And I'm appalled at people leaping to the conclusion of paedophilia and sexual assault, from those comments... Has trump been caught on the street or anywhere else grabbing vaginas or have you just extrapolated those words into an action that never happened?
The woman that came from out of the wood work when it fit the media narrative a few weeks before an election saying that trump was all over her like an octopus obviously has links to the Clinton campaign and judging by the false accusations they've been planning (exposed earlier this week) I wouldn't put anything past the Clinton smear machine

Maybe if you don't want people to believe you sexually assault women, you shouldn't go around telling people that you do. If you say that, it's going to be taken seriously. If someone told me they raped someone or punched someone, I would believe them. Same thing.
Trump held a press conference with Bill Clinton's accusers saying women should be believed. Now that multiple women have come out against Trump (some had already come out with these accusations before he was running for president) he's saying that they're liars. Funny that. Let's not forget that they're too ugly for him to sexually assault/rape. His words. You seriously think this guy respects women?

Rape and child abuse are wrong... The worst things in the world... And that's why I am even talking about this because those things that were said are neither of those terrible things.. They've been dragged there by an angry mob I agree - words are words after all. However, they are still obscene. The Democratic Party will obviously paint Trump as a threat to women, because they need the women vote. But I don't think it has been the glorious success they wanted it to be. There are only so many times you can say "misogynist", "racist" and "homophobe" before people start rolling their eyes. Though having said all that, I'm glad there are some liberal minded folk, like me, who haven't swallowed this "Hillary will fight or you" rubbish the media churns out. To draw comparisons to the BREXIT (ugh, I'm sorry) - the Conservative party's stand was "Europe is amazing. You will die without it", whilst Labour's was slightly more "Europe isn't perfect, but we'd be worse off without it" - and this kind of thing is playing itself out in the media with this election. I've never experienced such hatred and vitriol for merely expressing a view that deviates from the status quo. It's so strange living in a world where being slightly right-wing makes you a rebel. Going back to your point, this hyperbole and exaggeration is what will get Donald in, the same way it swung the Brexit vote, so I wouldn't be too critical of it. Political Correctness and the classic "I am so offended and you are so stupid" mentality has ran it's course, and the "angry mob" know it.

You're forgetting that America is a far more culturally diverse country than the UK and that Trump (just like Brexit) is very unpopular with non-whites. 12% of America is black. No minority group in the UK passes 5%. Trump has also offended women in a way that Brexit never did. Whilst some women will still vote Trump, the vast majority will not.
The New York Times says that currently Trump has an 8% chance of winning. FiveThirtyEight says 13%. Whilst Brexit was not predicted to win, its chances were far more favourable than that a couple of weeks before the vote. Trump could still win but to say that he definitely will at this point, is slightly ridiculous.

You missed the bit where he says they 'let him' do it because he's famous. He's not talking about women wanting him to kiss or touch them, he's talking about getting away with assault. That ain't consent. And by the way the reason why women 'let' things like that happen is because most people's reaction is shock. When you're not expecting to be kissed or grabbed and it happens you very often freeze - that applies to men and women, by the way.

Jo Cox version 2?

To me, at the heart of this election it is a choice between ESTABLISHMENT/GLOBALISM vs AMERICA, much like Brexit. Although the demography of America is different, Brexit was secured by the apathetic voting block who have been let down by the establishment time and time again, which happens to be about 100x bigger in America - the black community have been failed constantly too, so I'm sure there'll be a number of two-faced voters, like Brexit, who'll never admit they'll vote Trump but will anyway. Then again, maybe the polls will get it right this time.

Who knows? Another factor to look at is America's electoral system. It's not whoever gets the most votes. It's which states vote which way, as certain states are given more 'points' than others. I remember watching the 2012 election results come in and for the beginning half or so Mitt Romney and the Republicans were winning. Then as soon as some of those big states started revealing their results, Obama came back in with a vengeance. The state with the most electoral votes - California - will always go blue. That also gives Hillary an advantage that Trump will have to overcome. Even the biggest red state - Texas - is closer to blue in the polls than it has been in decades. A lot of Americans will also look at Brexit (which many people consider to be a huge mistake, especially people outside of the UK) and think maybe having a complete turnaround isn't such a good idea after all. As much as we heard about Bernie Sanders being real competition for Clinton because he was anti-establishment etc., in the end it wasn't even close between the two of them.

Quite amusing to see the Guardianistas totally horrified by Trump's suggestion he won't accept the result of the democratic vote when very few of them are accepting the result of the democratic Brexit vote. Likewise their rapid reversal from deifying Assange to hating him. In amongst all this hoopla some of the revelations in the leaked Clinton emails are quite startling, if the Republicans retain the House and Senate impeachment proceedings are quite likely I'd say.
