I've taken this post down - lost temper after avoiding posting in this topic for a while. I was being sarcastic because of an earlier 'loony liberal elite' posting with which I disagreed. I'll go back to avoiding not good for my blood pressure (I'm US/UK .)

I mean this sincerely and not in any abrasive or mean way, but I honestly have a hard time following some of your posts (like the one above). Or is it just sarcasm that an American would not immediately pick up on? If so, I plead guilty!

Reviving this thread to say that I'm rather taken with the idea that before President Obama leaves the White House he should put stickers on everything reading Hecho en México.

I just feel the whole Trump/Pence business brings a complete new meaning to politically incorrect.

So the mainstream media are still blaming Clinton's loss on third parties and Sanders. They're calling him the Ralph Nader of 2016. Meanwhile they fail to see that Ralph Nader running had only a very small part in Bush' win.

Meanwhile they fail to see that Ralph Nader running had only a very small part in Bush' win. Bush won Florida officially by 537 votes. Nader got 97,488 votes in Florida. 7 other candidates polled more than 537, two over 15,000. So third party candidates are likely to have had an effect.

Only 24,000 democrats voted for Nader. So actually Nader wasn't nearly Gore's biggest problem.

I think it's unlikely that they will do that.

Most people with logic think the same?
Nate Silver:
The FBI themselves:
STILL not sure why you're continuing to bring up Clinton to insult her when by all accounts she is keeping out of the spotlight, but once again have nothing to say on Trump and his reprehensible choices and behaviour since the election.

Clinton is now blaming FBI director Comey and the Russians for her losing the election... pathetic There are a lot of words I could use to describe the fact the Russian government interfered in and attempted to (actually did?) rig the American election but I'm not sure "pathetic" really covers it. Guess Putin owns America now.

Guess Putin owns America now. They couldn't have "rigged" the election if Clinton and the Democrats hadn't been so stupid and careless. Sure, the Russians doing this was wrong, but if there hadn't been anything incriminating in those e-mails, there's wouldn't have been a problem.

I brought this up because I saw a new article about it TODAY! The article said SHE blamed the FBI and the Russians. That isn't what I call keeping out of the spotlight. She has the right to say this. And I have the right to call her out on it. And how am I insulting her? I don't feel the need to onstantly bash Trump because everyone is doing that (and rightly so). I just bring up stuff that hardly anyone is talking about. I haven't seen you post about Trumps behaviour either? Then why is there a need to call me personally out about not posting anything about Trump when you don't either?

And Trump has been a beacon of credibility and competence since winning!!!! That's not the point. My calling out Clinton does not mean I approve of what Trump does. I just read an article about the Clinton thing today, which is why I brought it up.

It's weird to use words like "bashing" and "calling out" in a political debate.
Lives are at stake. The future of American and indeed the world is at stake. Trump seems to have reduced the level of political discourse to a 1990s Net Flamewar.

Then why is there a need to call me personally out about not posting anything about Trump when you don't either? She and a whole slew of other people are blaming the FBI and the Russians. It's not like she has done a press conference on it, tweeted about it or anything similar. How are you insulting her? Is 'pathetic' not an insult? Plenty of people are talking about the Russians, it was the main story in the US yesterday. I have posted about Trump's behaviour numerous times in this thread. I haven't in the past month or so because the thread died and I've been talking about him in other places. You bumped this thread specifically to call Hillary pathetic.

Clinton and the Democrats were horrified and said it was a grave threat to democracy when Trump said he would accept the result of the election only if he won. Seems you can add the charge of hypocrisy to them. Release of the Podesta emails was actually in the public interest as they showed the DNC conspiring against Bernie Sanders by leaking debate questions and so on.

Hillary has accepted the results, or did you miss her concession speech? Trump was threatening not to concede. However, Clinton and the Democrats still have the right to comment on why they lost, particularly when hacking and rigging are associated.

I say someting negative about Clinton, and Snutte calls me out for not saying anything about Trump.
