Not yet confirmed, but Memphis is rumoured to tour the UK from October 2016 into 2017.
Apparently, some sort of a name will be needed to tour this successfully. Current proposals for Huey include: Matt Willis, Noel Sullivan, Shayne Ward, Will Young or maybe even Matt Cardle returning.
How about Felicia? Despite being a bit young, I'd love to see Lili Frazer have a go at Felicia. And of course I wouldn't say no to see Rachel John returning (actuall, I'd scream "Yes!").
Any further rumours or names?

I'd be screaming for Rachel, god that woman needs a break. I'd also be more than happy to see Cardle tour with this too. I suppose it depends on how he feels about doing a musical tour

I just watched that video and got all sentimental. God, I miss that show. It's time for the tour to be announced (and start).

Memphis will launch a UK tour in 2017. I wonder if this will be a bigger seller out on the road.

I am part of the theatre industry, and this show has already been booked in to many venues in preparation for their national tour.

Wahoo let's hope it comes somewhere near me. My other half got me the soundtrack last year and didn't listen to it for an age. Took a few listens through to get into it, but then I was hooked and would love to see live.

Just saw this photo posted on Killian Donnelly's twitter (KD posing with Chad Kimball, the OBC Huey). I really miss this show! Has anyone heard anything new about the tour in a while? Is it still set for 2017? Seems to have gone quiet. I just pray it does return to the UK soon, as I've not found a new go-to musical since! For my money the West End production was perfect, the best ensemble cast I've seen in a West End show! And I'm rarely one to 'fangirl' out about things! Anyway sorry to dig up this ancient thread!

Anyway sorry to dig up this ancient thread! My heart stopped for a second as I had assumed they had finally announced the UK tour. I miss this show dearly.

This was such a surprise to me this show. I only went a couple of weeks before it closed, Bevs last matinee. I basically only went as a) Bev and Matt b) it was closing. I'd not really thought about going that much previously as it didn't seem my cup of tea. So anyway i went for the above reasons in the end and ended up completely surprised that i loved it so much. I loved Matt as Huey, i was not expecting him to be so good to be quite honest. Really really enjoyed it and can't wait for the tour (if there is one)

Also after seeing Jon Robyns in Legally Blonde I'd have been quite interested in seeing him as Huey.

Also after seeing Jon Robyns in Legally Blonde I'd have been quite interested in seeing him as Huey. I've made my status as a fan of his known before, but really he was excellent in the role. I'd love to see him back for the tour, as I'd wished they'd just promoted him after Killian left (although I understood the need to stunt cast, and actually really liked Matt Cardle too). If they brought back Rachel John as well and stunt cast a smaller role on tour then my life would be made. Not sure there's really much chance of that happening, especially now that Rachel is going into TBG in London at the end of the year, but still... I can dream!

Even after recent criticism I'd be quite interested to see Lily Frazer as Felicia. I don't mind she looks quite young, they can probably go that way. As long at there is a fair;y young Huey it would work.
