Yay. Well done. What did you win? Also, any questions you didn't get for us to have a go at?

Yay. Well done. What did you win? Also, any questions you didn't get for us to have a go at? There were some visual questions; some partial images of shows and of actors/actresses. Walking down from Holborn to Piccadilly Circus you had to name the theatres. Name the four Strallen sisters. What sitcom actor became The Phantom of the Opera? Name two of the three musicals written by Bjorn Uvales? What are the four things the Witch wishes for in Into The Woods? What was the show based upon The Matchmaker? What Shakespearean play is Kiss Me Kate based upon? A whole series of Broadway questions, including what size of theatre makes it off-Broadway? And who has won the most Tony Awards? Quoting lyrics, name the show. (Including the current) what was the four last shows at The Prince Edward theatre? That's just a sample. Possibly the nest one will be at Christmas.

Who wrote music and lyrics for Dreamgirls
A picture round of 27 show logos, which was too easy... i.e they showed the name Billy and then try to name which show it was....
A picture round of various theatre folk, NY and London
Name the last 4 shows at the Winter Gardens theatre, NYC

Wow. You've got a good memory. Was there a limit to the number of people per team?

I love pub quizzes, and this one would be right up my street but I would quickly realise that my theatre knowledge is definitely lacking when it comes to the harder questions.
I wouldn't have had a clue on the first two questions at the start of this thread, and anything too Broadway would probably be lost on me.
It's a pity they have this on a Friday as not living close enough to London I couldn't go unless it falls during a school holiday.
Well done team. Was it a close victory or you ran away with it?

There's nothing to stop anyone organising a theatreboard quiz for theatreboard members*. Find a pub, get into teams, someone volunteers to be quizmaster. Bob's your uncle! *sounds like League of Gentlemen

(I think) we won by 7 points. There were only three of us and we beat a table of seven.

Bob's your uncle! *sounds like League of Gentlemen And Fanny's your aunt? Maybe our theatreboard quiz winners would like to volunteer to organise us our own quiz (mostly because I wouldn't fancy being in a team against them ).
