Somewhat trivial, but if you can't rank musicals on a theatre forum...
Based wholly on music and disregarding your love for a certain show, what are your 5 favourite scores of his?
1. Sunset Boulevard - such glorious continuity (a la Sondheim); Hollywood sophistication; this a score I just 'feel' if that makes sense
2. The Phantom of the Opera - a seamless union of drama and romance; catchy but classy
3. Jesus Christ Superstar - again, this is, for me, such an emotional score
4. Cats - at times an eerie, jazz imbued, score
5. Evita - the first Lloyd Webber score I ever obsessed over... I think I've over-listened to this score, explaining why it's at no. 5
Also, considering this is music based, I have to give an honorable mention to Love Never Dies - a crap show with such an underrated score.
