I enjoyed the videos of this I saw when it was on Broadway so I'm pleased to see i'ts coming over. I just hope the producers don't repeat what the did on Broadway & have the highest ever premium prices! Fantasy-casting-wise I'd love to see Damian Humbley as Dr Frankenstein and either Nic Greenshields or Jeff Nicholson as the Monster.

I vote for John Barrowman as Dr Frankenstein...or Matt Rawle...and Leigh Zimmerman would make a great Inga, I think. Mel loves her and she won the Olivier for playing Ulla...

I love the Barrowman idea- I'd love to see him back on stage (outside of Panto) and he'd be really fun. As a side note I was re-watching 'Episodes' last night and shouted 'Dr Frankenstein' at Roger Bart having had this in my head from earlier...

Saw this in NYC back in 2008, what a change going from the massive then Hilton theatre to the Garric.
It's a good show, it should do well in London, but what an awful venue choice.

I much prefer the red and blue artwork than the green to be honest.
Nonetheless, I'm very excited for this. I would go for the cheap seats but worried as I've heard and seen many bad things about the Garrick's sight lines, particularly in the rear stalls and the circle overhang.
Now I wonder who they'll cast? I remember a while back Lee Evan's name was thrown around but probably due to the Leo Bloom link.

Avoid the back of the Garrick stalls at all costs!! Couldn't agree with this more. Don't think I've *ever* had a good time at the back of the stalls at The Garrick. Worse than horrendous! I'd prefer back row of Upper Circle there if the same price!

Couldn't agree with this more. Don't think I've *ever* had a good time at the back of the stalls at The Garrick. Oh I don't know about that. My lips are sealed but I will say it involved a leading member of the RSC, two chorus boys from a musical that shall remain nameless and several props left over from the production of 'A Little Night Music'.

I really know nothing about this show.
I am certainly familiar with the movie, so I know the storyline.
All I know is that it's Mel Brooks and the Broadway production starred Megan Malachy from Will & Grace (presumably in the Madeline Khan role) and Christopher Fitzgerald and rode on the back of the success of The Producers but other than that nothing.
Don't know the score, lyrics.

If it lasts beyond February, I'll be surprised unless it's cheap as chips to run

Perhaps I ought to listen to the CD I bought years ago. It is still unplayed!

Apparently final auditions have taken place. They were only looking at names for the leads...any rumours?
