I dunno about Laura. I have no idea what she does in real life. But I think Tameka had a difficult if not rotten time. She was given the hard dances , the Paso, the charleston which demand such character way before the rest will get them. No waltz no Viennese so she could show some grace. And what a dreadful costume this week- - a practically black full length effort, almost a burka for goodness sake. Dark costumes rarely score well with the public vote. Laura had feathers. I know different dance but excuse me, a tango? You can certainly glam that up. No, Tameka was robbed...and I'm losing my faith in the set up. I'm not saying it is rigged...far from it but there are ways of nudging, aren't there? She's an actress, the character dances should have played to her strengths - but they didn't. If you think they were difficult, a Viennese Waltz would have been much worse. Tameka's problem was she was polarising - I know a lot of people (and I also agree) who found her intensely irritating and unfunny, and so really didn't care if she went out early. She's clearly not that popular with the Eastenders fanbase or she'd still be there, whereas Naga seems to be harnessing the BBC Breakfast support to keep her in even though she's not very good. And at least Ed Balls and Judge Rinder are amusing people and being taught proper technique (though as far as I'm concerned the sooner Rinder goes, the better as he's just as annoying as Tameka). Gorka's choreography was uninspired (though the Charleston probably wasn't him, but that was dire as well) and that didn't help Tameka's cause much. |

What did everyone think of Ball & Boe? I thought it sounded a bit of a mess, one of them singing straight and one operatic didn't seem to work. A shame as I like them both individually, but together wasn't impressed. Agree... Like you, I like them both individually, but this just sounded wrong. And it came across as a bit of a cheese-fest. Not for me... |

What did everyone think of Ball & Boe? I thought it sounded a bit of a mess, one of them singing straight and one operatic didn't seem to work. A shame as I like them both individually, but together wasn't impressed. Couldn't really hear them over the boiling kettle. |

Tameka does always make me laugh, ever since Beautiful Thing: "Have I got C*** stamped across my forehead?" But I wondered if her hilarious intervention as Ore o'Doom dramatically wept would annoy some people?

I thought that was hilarious when she joined in and then everyone did, but a lot of people on other sites seem to like to pull her up on all her behaviour. |

Ball & Boe sounded dreadful! Awful harmonies and I didn't think the voices together worked at all. Plus I found two guys singing a love duet a bit odd, especially as they ensured they WERE NOT singing to each other - very much against the lyric! The whole thing was bizarre - I cannot see albums being sold on the back of that although no doubt the "fans" will pack out the concerts!

I thought it was completely over the top and unnecessary - when she started I thought it might have been genuine emotion, but it quickly turned into anything but. Given Ore and Joanne were genuinely emotional, it seemed very attention-seeking. She annoyed me long before that though, and she just wasn't very good. |

For anyone interested Es balls was on Loose Women today and personally I thought he did a pretty good job promoting not only Strictly but his partnership with Kataya in the show and himself.

Yes, hope it is nothing serious... I agree that nobody likes being ticked off in public, and it was embarrassing to watch, but there again he did make a complete tit of himself trying to tell Len of all people how much (*cough*) salsa content was in his Bollywood dance. He then tried to dig himself out of it by shmoozing Len when he was up with Claude but made things worse. Poor Karen; she will get far less exposure now because of this. And the producers will be working out how to fill another week, this time without someone leaving...

I've always wondered why they have 4 pairs in the final - I've always thought it seems too busy. Maybe it's their back up plan incase anyone does drop out - that way they still have a good number in the final without having to replace anyone.

I reckon that in time, all will come out.
It angers me when this sort of thing happens. All these people across the country that voted for him. I hope that money doesn't go to waste and Strictly donate it to a respectable charity.
The only people who will know will be Will himself (see what I did there?), Karen his dancing partner, this closest to him, his 'people' and the strictly producers. I bet the publicity machines on both side are currently in overdrive,
Maybe the reasons are personal, maybe not. If it is personal, whatever it is, I wish him the best to get over and deal with it.
If it's not personal, but on some sort of professional level, his actions throw the 'family bond' the other competitors and professional are trying to foster.
As cariahas has correctly stated, less exposure for Karen.
As much as Strictly will try and gloss it over, the rippling effects could be felt till the end of the season.
In a couple of years time, he'll release an autobiography where he'll tell his 'official' version of events that will be a best seller for a dew weeks on the W H Smith best seller list.
Wasn't he tipped to win?

In many other years he would've stood a good chance, but the standard is so high he was in the middle which is dangerous. Maybe he saw Tameka go and realised that could be him sooner rather than later and he didn't want to risk finding out he wasn't that popular - which I would completely understand. I realise that probably sounds quite critical of him, but I don't mean it like that.
