21st now seems to have disappeared from the website! The plot thickens. Surely they won't reopen at a Thursday matinee?

I normally don't get precious about stuff like this but after some of us stumped up the reddies in good faith for the right to buy early, surely we're owed the right to rebuy/switch? Already peed off as I had fantastic tickets for 5 June (at no small cost). I don't just want to be offered the chance to rebook for a later date and be told "vouchers are non-refundable". Some serious goodwill on the line here.

Has anyone who had booked for prior to 21st July heard anything from LW Theatres yet about rebooking?

The LW booking page is having a rough week isn’t it? Missing circles, vanishing dates...is it based in the Bermuda Triangle.

We may need to get Coleen Rooney to investigate. Though at least after the Carrie song video we can rest assured that it still exists. What a time!

The first Wednesday has made a triumphant return to the LW Theatres booking page! (In case anyone cares lol ;-)) The seat I booked for original reopening night is showing as booked, the one next to me (which was available when I last looked) is available. When will they let us know if this means they have rebooked us or we need to rebook?

I can't believe after all the hype to get vouchers for first options on tickets, that they would then leave first nighters in limbo. My hunch is that they'll offer 5 June seats a new performance (a bit like the Les Mis Concert preview) perhaps on the Tuesday or the Saturday before. You might recall when booking opened you could book the 5th and then the next show was 9th June for a few days.

I can’t see that they would have sold that many tickets for that night otherwise. I bought DMT+ to get Les Mis concert tickets which were cancelled under the 50% cap and I will lose the rebooked ones too. It is a bit weird that it is a midweek school night but if it is I’ll be there!

I want to see it before the whingers and naysayers decry it as a pale imitation of the old show.

What surprises me is the fact we've been in this situation for a good few days now and six weeks of early bookers are in limbo unable to do anything because of the lack of communication. Even a "we're working on it, we'll get back to you soon" would have been appreciated.

Even a "we're working on it, we'll get back to you soon" would have been appreciated. This seems to be the case for a lot of shows it seems. Even the holding messages from other shows don’t reassure me. Not sure if they are worried that it might have to change again?

Anybody else received an email about POTO? No dates mentioned in it, which is interesting. Basically just asking folk to sit tight while they get in touch with people as they are trying to move people sequentially. Really do hope they don't screw up bookings for those who paid ahead to get priority for the reopening... Anybody got any further info?

Could somebody share the email please? Dear Fiyero We're pleased to confirm that subject to the successful completion of the government's planned roadmap, The Phantom of the Opera will reopen at Her Majesty's Theatre in London this summer. This may mean that some existing bookings need to move and we will contact those customers affected as soon as new dates are confirmed. Look out for another email from us within the next few weeks, which will include all of the details you'll need regarding your visit. We're contacting all our guests individually, so please bear with us as we work through each booking as quickly and carefully as possible. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to confirm the new reopening schedule. You don't need to do anything We know how much you're looking forward to seeing Phantom, so to make it nice and easy for you, any affected bookings will be moved into the same seats for the equivalent performance within the run. We understand that bookings may have been made for specific dates and performances and we will do our very best to move any bookings that are impacted. We’ll be in contact with you very soon to confirm the new performance details, including information about how to exchange your tickets for a new date or obtain a refund should you need to. Please keep an eye on your inbox, junk and spam folders for this email. Please don't contact us until we've contacted you. On behalf of the producers, we'd like to thank you for booking tickets to see The Phantom of the Opera and look forward to welcoming you to Her Majesty's Theatre very soon. Thank you for your ongoing support and patience in these uncertain times. With our best wishes, The LW Theatres Team

Slightly off-topic in that it's international news but I was a bit surprised to see new this morning of "Cameron Macintosh's Brilliant New production" of Phantom opening soon in Sydney Opera House, with the Laurence Connor artwork. Details inside show what looks to be the 2012 production that originated on the UK touring circuit, so given the show is nearly a decade old the press lingo is surprisingly loose with facts. au.thephantomoftheopera.com/

I thought this production would have been discontinued, seeing as apparently ALW wasn't a fan of it, at least that's what I've heard.
