Has phantom stopped doing day tickets? I’ve been going on every day at 10 o’clock and the link just doesn’t work. I’ve even re-registered my email to get a new link and that still doesn’t work. Theyre going on sale at 12. Not at 10 I think. Edit: I was wrong. They go on sale at 10. Anyways a friend tried last week and they got Tickets. So do they do still have them.

Saw this tonight - a long-runner but still a fabulous show with a strong cast. Thoroughly enjoyable evening!

Saw this tonight - a long-runner but still a fabulous show with a strong cast. Thoroughly enjoyable evening! Completely agree. Have seen this a few times over the years. I was hoping to go last night but didn’t get tickets in time. I believe Eve Shanu-Wilson (understudy) was playing Christine. Saw her perform earlier this year when she seemed to be on a lot and covering the Alternate role; she epitomises the character for me. I loved her “Wishing” and “Past the Point of No Return”. She looks the right age too to be believable. I also loved Jon Robyns and Joe Griffiths-Brown and thought Eve and Joe had a strong connection on stage. Also Adam Linstead is fabulous as Monsieur Andre, he’s hilarious in the ballet scene! I’d really like to see the new Alternate at some point too.

Don't suppose anyone knows if they have FINALY done a new brochure with Robyns et al?
Was still Killian and Lucy last time I went despite the fact they left over a year ago!

Question to all the experts: I have seen the new London version once, two years ago maybe, and while I found it had changed, it wasn't fundamentally different from what I remembered, I didn't think it was terrible. The reduced orchestra, yes, but the staging was ... different, but still recognizable as 'Phantom'. Decided that this was my last visit at the London production though. Now the Vienna version has a full orchestra as I understand it, but looking at the pictures on the website (musicalvienna.at), this looks a lot different from what I remember from that visit in London...or is it just 'bad' photographs? Can anyone, who has seen the show in Vienna, confirm, if this is also the current London version? Or is it something different? Thanks for any help!

It's a non-replica production, meaning it's a new staging different from the current London production.

Oh, I don't suppose anyone's heard any cast change (end of July) rumours? Might be a bit early, of course.

Ok, just read in the International section, that Vienna is the 25th Anniversary Tour version, which explains the differences to the current London version. Thanks!

Ok, just read in the International section, that Vienna is the 25th Anniversary Tour version, which explains the differences to the current London version. Thanks! Exactly this! I went a few weekends ago. As is usual for Vienna it is an absolutely superb quality presentation of a good production - the 25th version. If that makes sense. But I would recommend it. The experience is just so slick and it's such a pleasure to be in Vienna theatres. (It must be a quandary for many "Phans" as they are so vocal re not liking the Laurence Connor version - which this is - but also so vocal re mourning of the reduced orchestra. This has a 30 odd piece orchestra, as is normal in VBW productions; so double London. It sounds glorious. Wonder if they can accept one out of two ).

So a Phantom of the Opera rollercoaster using VR has opened at a themepark in Germany...
So random:

My friend recently got back from a trip to Europa-Park and said that the Phantom rollercoaster is an interesting experience! She wasn't sure if she had a dodgy headset or not but said that the image quality of the VR wasn't great but the concept was really interesting! Funnily enough, it's the same track as their Moulin Rouge themed rollercoaster, you just have to book a specific slot for the Phantom version

I'd just like to acknowledge the box office manager at Phantom who reimbursed my tickets into a voucher since I was unable to travel and didn't sell them. Admittedly I was quite persistent as I had originally tried to exchange them under their scheme but had come just outside the 48 hour period. In the end though I was able to rebook with the vouch so all good in the end!

Jon Robyns' latest Instagram story says he suffered a serious foot injury on stage during the week so will be out of the show for a bit and will also miss West End Live this weekend. Hope he mends well!

Does anyone have any idea how long Jon might be expected to be off? Have tickets in a few weeks to see this - with the main reason being to see Jon (have seen the show multiple times before).

Not by recent standards, it's been later and later post reopening. Last July was three weeks notice, last Feb was also about three weeks (and something like four days for Holly-Anne Hull taking over as principal Christine!), and this March Chumisa's casting was confirmed the week she started performing. So I'm not expecting anything until next week or quite possibly the week after - if anyone's heard anything do share!

Jon is back, although I don’t know if he is doing all shows or taking it one day at a time. He has done all shows so far this week. Also I assume you are seeing the show in July, if not then I would not assume Jon will be there as there is a chance he will be leaving at the end of the month (July). Not officially confirmed but it’s a possibility.

That IS interesting. Love her but didn't think Carlotta would be in her wheelhouse. I'm excited to be proven wrong! Nice to see Martin Ball back, always enjoy him. And thrilled James Gant and Eve Shanu-Wilson are staying, especially with Eve now alternate. My favourite Phantom and Christine in years.

Dean Chisnall has one of my favourite voices on the West End, very excited for this.
