"Official" announcement is Monday. Wouldn't expect cast but might get more creatives.

We've had a lot of suggestions for Gomez and Wednesday....what about Morticia? I am probably alone here... but I can't stop thinking about Katie Rowley Jones. I don't even know why.

Since talking about her on the Wicked thread, I think Natasha Ferguson would be an excellent Wednesday.

Someone said to me Denise van Outen should be Morticia which I agree with. And Evelyn Hoskins would be perfect as Wednesday. I wouldn't mind Sabrina Aloueche either.

Really hope they don't screw up the casting. These are brilliant characters. I don't want to see Jason Manford gurning his way through the role of Gomez.

With his links to Music & Lyrics and the director i'd say his casting is a possibility. I've never seen him so can't really say i;d be for or against it.

I have to say I Have been impressed by Jason Manford in all the shows I have seen him in (Sweeney Todd, Producers, Chitty)
There are a lot worse people they could cast if they do choose him. I was impressed how he doesn't just play himself, he was great in the Producers.

Jason Manford could be a more than decent Fester in my opinion.

And hasn't a certain hopeful previously mentioned that Wednesday Addams is one of her dream roles I gather that certain hopeful has got it.

Perhaps after his "stella" turn in "Exposure", Michael Greco might end up as Gomez? Or perhaps Martin Kemp?
Frankly, there are no end of terrible choices out there.

Any dates for London at all yet? Not by the looks of things! But Southend's only an hour (ish) away by train from London. The Cliff's is about a five minute walk from the station. It's always an option!

It's playing Wimbledon. There's a full tour schedule knocking around online somewhere, but I can't find it!

It's always an option! Southend is 51-64 minutes away By national rail's planner. Canterbury is 51 minutes by HS1 and equally near to the theatre..
