Hi folks Does anyone know if Madalena does all performances? A friend has booked for the Wednesday matinee in Newcastle, and I'm concerned that Ms Alberto might not do weekday matinees! I'm pretty sure it was Monday that the alt. Eva goes on but don't quote me on that. Madalena has been either off sick or on holiday, as according to @westendcovers on Twitter, Kellie Gnauck (alternate) has been Eva recently. |

I would have though Gian Marco would be ready for a matinee off. How long has he been in this now? Funny you should say that, as BKL are looking for a new Che as Evita's going around again from July - Dec 2018, possibly even until Feb 2019, so guessing Gian/BKL wanted a break! |

Hope it comes to Manc (again). It’s got to the point where I’m seeing this live so often that im doing it instead of sticking the soundtrack on 😬 Its the comfy slipper of Musical Theatre. Not with Pellow though 🤢 |

The only thing I really don't like about this production (or the original Prince production) is presenting the "Ché" everyman/entity as a real person, namely Ché Guevara - it's nonsense.

Is Madalena doing the July-December leg? I don’t think she was originally but I suppose she could stay on. Would they promote Natalie Langston from last year or Kellie Gnuack or get someone else entirely otherwise I wonder.

You didn’t mention which role you were playing? It actually went really well. Thanks for asking! I was Eva’s Brother, the army and one of Eva’s lovers. I was also understudying Ché and Magaldi. We have a distinct lack of men in the society so I had to do all the Male parts! It was stressful and tiring but it gave me an idea of what it’s actually like in showbusiness. |

Notice there are 2 midweek matinees in Glasgow this week. Does anyone know if it is likely that the cover Eva will be on for both of these or will Madelena likely be on?

Well her understudy did both performances yesterday (Newcastle) but Madalena seems to take random shows off every week. |

He joined when Emma did at the beginning of last year I think? There’s another “break” in the tour from June-July where a new Éva will probably join for the next leg so maybe he’ll leave too then.
