If true, I’m also sad it’s this version. The A.R.T. one was just so good and this is just so…fine.

But by the sounds of it the ART version doesn't need to be in somewhere the size of the Coliseum...

If Eva Noblezada is in it, the demand will be there. 😋 I will buy tickets for everyone I know. 😂 My Green Light is such an epic song! And The Past is Catching Up to Me and Beautiful Little Fool. I guess there’s not as many uptempos but Roaring On does grow on you! Eva Noblezada isn't going to set the box office alight tko the general public.... 👍 hear you. I was meaning the demand will be there because I will buy all the tickets! 😋 I’ve been dreaming of the chance to hear her live. I don’t know how big her following is in the UK though!

Do you both mean an announcement is coming?
I hope Jeremy Jordan opens this production, seeing how he is leaving the Broadway one in January.

Hilarious
After being trashed by the critics there
And hardly setting the box office on fire
They decide to bring here apparently
Like that song from sister act but amended
Spread that sh*t all around
Spread it aroooooound

They have the money, they don’t really care. Their main goal is just to beat out the ART production.

Is there a big name attached to this? Just wondering how it is going to fill such a big theatre....

Both leads I assume. But whether or not they'd attract the average Joe and not just MT fans is left to be decided

Exciting only with the star leads, I think. Smart move to set it for peak summer season for such a recognizable title.

I don't think the leads will be coming over, Jeremy Jordan is rumoured to be doing Floyd Collins. If the producers have as much money as everyone has been saying, I would expect some really good names.

This is a much longer run than I was expecting - I hope they manage to sell it.

Especially spreading vitriolic negativity without having seen it.
I enjoyed it very much.
Would love to rather see British leads though.
Pity it has to do a limited summer run in an unsuitable barn because too many theatres are clogged up with tourist shows.

Very much interested on who they’ll cast as not expecting the broadway leads.

Whilst I didn't love this on Broadway, I thought it was worth every penny to hear Jeremy Jordan belting the Past is Catching Up to Me. What a song! Intrigued to see who they cast.

I remember working on this at Wiltons Music Hall some years ago. Great cast but unforgettable score.

So it looks like he has a type.

It’s such a waste of theatre, when we could easily have a glorious Grease or maybe an exciting Dirty Dancing revival why not have Elf back for good measure or yet another Joseph with the cheap and stripped back Bill Kenwright version. Why in heaven’s name would the West End want a big brand new musical Broadway transfer?
