Looking forward to 'Anastasia' and 'Hello Dolly'.

Oh and Let Me Be Your Star from Smash. There are so many male versions to listen to on YT. Super song. Shame they couldn't write songs that good for Charlie!

Thanks to this thread I started to listen to "Come from Away" but I find it too disturbing to continue right now...

I just listened to Come From Away this morning! It's a good job my co-workers are used to me quietly weeping away at my desk for no discernible reason...

Having a bit of a break from cast recordings today to listen to an actual soundtrack. It's not that I'd forgotten how good the Westworld TV soundtrack is so much as it always manages to stun me with its brilliance every single time.

I was listening to Hamilton for the first time in ages this morning, it is nice to revisit and give the whole thing a listen through again.

I've been listening to Dear Evan Hansen, Waitress and Groundhog Day a lot recently.
I also recently rekindled my love of American Idiot (perhaps because I'm going to see Green Day this summer? 😂) and I can't stop listening to it. Such a blast from the past.

Hello Dolly - what a boring reocording. The show has so much charm and fizz and it's all missing on the recording. Also what with the 'new' song?
Natasha, Pierre and the great comet - I'm really enjoying getting to know it. Although the opening song does not represent the material, or is it just me?

Does anyone use Spotify? We should totally have a weekly Theatre Board playlist. This sounds like a great idea, and at the same time I am too lazy to do this

I found the original Off-Broadway cast recording of Comet nearly impossible to listen to, by comparison it seems that the new Broadway Cast Recording sounds much mellower and nicer, or is that only me who has mellowed towards the show?

I just wish we had a Great Comet recording with Josh Groban and Phillipa Soo. Josh's voice is more pleasant to listen to than Dave Malloy's and although Denée Benton has a gorgeous, sweet voice, I'm really missing Phillipa's acting choices in her vocal performance.

Lately I have been obsessed with Grey Gardens and also the documentary and little Edie in general. I am quite annoyed I missed it at Southwark so hope it returns soon as I really want to see it!!!
