As people often moan about
And exaggerate the weather
In the UK
I would like to acknowledge
The last 3-4 weeks
Have been lovely

Only the odd day with (for me) extreme heat. I don't fare well when it is 25° or over.

I agree generally it's been nice, but I think the last 3-4 weeks is a stretch. Been some pretty cool/overcast/wet days, on the south coast anyway.

Generally been nice but we have had a few days in London when it was 32c. Fine by the sea or in the open but horrible in the city or on public transport. Today lovely as it was 25c and much more manageable

I'm jolly hacked off that the 2 hottest days (so far) of this summer were both dates when I had theatre booked in London. I can't face London in over 30 degrees so I lost 2 theatre bookings, one for 2 shows. It feels like the weather is deliberately targeting me, especially as on the hottest day of the year (so far) Cambridge was the hottest place in the country.

Luckily 2 were at Wembley and the Metropolitan line has good air con, as did the theatre but on Monday I had to take the central line into town which was horrible.

When I was in London a fortnight ago the heat hit you the second the train door opened at Euston. Too warm for me. Pretty much everywhere had aircon, but simply walking anywhere in the heat meant I was boiling by I got there.

I have to surround myself in a miasma of anti mosquito vapours.

Even though it is hot/warm it is just nice to have these lovely light evening where I can just potter with my secateurs in the garden.

I would have liked a little more sun in my part of Yorkshire.

I would have liked a little more sun in my part of Yorkshire. I’m currently in Leeds for the weekend and definitely agree with this TallPaul

I recently spent a week in France on a getaway with a group of close friends... it was BOILING!! There's a point where it's hot and there's a point where it's too hot, and we'd crossed that line weeks back! And when we got back, it was on the hottest recorded day of the year. I felt like I was going crazy.
Just can't take it anymore! AC is too expensive...

I like to go and stand in the dairy aisle of any supermarket when it’s 32 degrees. Have been doing it a lot recently 😹
