It has quite a bit of tap in it…. Not 42nd Street again, I hope? They did that back in 2010. Top Hat would be acceptable.

Then that leaves the option of Top Hat. It needs to be something commercial with an appeal of it is to transfer to town.

An American in Paris hasn't been done in a while.
Also, it's less on tap but Singin in the Rain always sells well.

Cockermouth?!! theatreboard.co.uk/thread/12115/theatre-phrases-annoy - please see my post at bottom of page one re: insufferable theatre lingo.

Charlie Stemp did Rough Crossings in 2019 IIRC so he has done other roles aside from musicals and panto. He'd quite good playing Felix in The Odd Couple but you'd need a name for Oscar to get bums on seats.

If it is Top Hat then I'd rather Jack Butterworth who frankly outshone Charlie in Kiss Me Kate and showed there's more than one old school song and dance man in town

Jack was always a machine in that OG ‘Hamilton’ cast and deserves all of the success that looks like is finally on the way. An immaculate triple threat.
